Because he finished 2nd in the Tour de DungHeap?

No... his performance in the Vuelta a Murcia was much more important. His 12th placing in the TT there was the very first time he'd ridden a proper time trial bike!

Is it me or did Geert Verheyen ride for one of Davitamon/Predictor/Silence/Omega Pharma - Lotto a few years ago?

The race did take place just year but it is back, the man behind the race, Pino Cerami, is still around at the age of 88.

Was already good in Settimana Lombarda.

Looks like it, good climber, very good sprint as well. Might as well be more of a puncheur, but we'll see.

At any rate, he might as well be another Eltink, so let's patiently wait and see :)

The overall will most likely go to one of the lucky few who were in yesterday's breakaway when the peloton was held up behind a rail crossing. Unfortunately, Tom Jelte Slagter wasn't one of them. But let's see what he can do in next week's LBL U23.

I think the schlecks are right on track to be peaking in the next 2 weeks. could be a big year on a whole for saxobank.

Good weekend for Roy.

Even better for Vachon.

I don't know if anybody really cares, but Cedric Pineau's having a mighty fine season so far. The podium at the Finistére was his eight top-5 this year. It seems like it was a great idea to take a step down from ProTour level to the Continental rankings. He's probably been the 2010 version of David Le Lay - the king of the French calendar :D
