The race did take place just year but it is back, the man behind the race, Pino Cerami, is still around at the age of 88.

I don't know if anybody really cares, but Cedric Pineau's having a mighty fine season so far. The podium at the Finistére was his eight top-5 this year. It seems like it was a great idea to take a step down from ProTour level to the Continental rankings. He's probably been the 2010 version of David Le Lay - the king of the French calendar
