I still disagree and think that top 5 would be very, very likely. At least now that we know he is headed to Spain to attempt a Tour-Vuelta double he has a proper post tour schedule that legitimises skipping the Worlds.He has the personal preference to get some rest after winning a big race, rather than going to a race where everything would have to align absolutely perfectly for him to get a top-10.
