did they get bankrupt and lost the naming rights, or who thought it was a good idea to change the name from Elfstedenronde to Elfstedenrace?

Admittedly, Eleven-City Ronde would be even worse.

They are different races. Elfstedenronde was held this year in June and was won by Philipsen, against Ewan and Jakobsen.

Come to think of it, Philipsen can now be crowned the Elfstedenking.

Yep. As late as last week, I played around with a stage finish in Cuorgnè after Pian del Lupo and Alpette.
Milano-Torino? If we’re just thinking about character of the route?
I meant number of changes. For more than a decade, it has had a unique route most years.
