did they get bankrupt and lost the naming rights, or who thought it was a good idea to change the name from Elfstedenronde to Elfstedenrace?

Admittedly, Eleven-City Ronde would be even worse.

They are different races. Elfstedenronde was held this year in June and was won by Philipsen, against Ewan and Jakobsen.

Come to think of it, Philipsen can now be crowned the Elfstedenking.

it looks like a change to the good, at least. The Alpette climb is tough, so hopefully some of the climbers will give it a go

Yep. As late as last week, I played around with a stage finish in Cuorgnè after Pian del Lupo and Alpette.
Milano-Torino? If we’re just thinking about character of the route?
I meant number of changes. For more than a decade, it has had a unique route most years.

14 guys went clear now, but it took them half the race to do so: Arensman, Buratti, Caicedo, Costa, Devenyns, Flynn, Formolo, Houle, Jungels, Marcellusi, Matthews, Meurisse, Mosca, Tejada

(if not, blame Google Translate!)

Jayco is chasing Matthews

Looks weird, but Matthews in current form is never surviving that climb in front and they have Yates behind who could make the jump

Cattaneo Bagioli and Dunbar going to make the jump to the front 4. Could be gone those 7 then.

QS winning again would be quite funny.

EDIT: Hirschi there too now. Stil some time behind the 'early break' tho.
