I was actually looking at his results after I saw he won in Hainan. He's a really odd one isn't he. He's always ridden for PT or WT teams but his palmares reads like that if a successful conti rider. 50 wins as you said and 37 of them are in Asia with most of them in China.

Nah, Guardini could actually survive proper echelons racing in the Tour of Quatar at his best.
Never able to climb, but the guy could handle the heat and crosswinds pretty well.
