The final is less interesting than last year because some months working on a long new bike path on the usual way back. Should be harder to get away.

Last hill isn't as far from the finish as last year tho, but weather is just too good and too many teams that want a sprint probably.

I edited my post because they said it. Have done the race this morning and wasn’t so much shorter in my mind. Also no Mathieu to make the race hard. And many sprinters as you said.

Wellens knows the race and what to do. The duo Moskes-Holstheide hard pace.

Philipsen dropped. Don’t know if Alpecin will wait.

Very interesting group now. Peloton already a minute back. And most teams are at least in 2nd group so could be over.

It hurts to watch, they just let him go and then all decided to refuse to work.

UAE is not dominant enough that other teams just let them win.

It was on the steepest part at the end of the hill. Just the strongest of this group. They didn’t just let him go.

G2 can get closer if they start work indeed.

First Pro win for Baroncini?

Can't remember the exact figure, but I think it's something like 20 of UAE's squad have won a race this year

Meanwhile over in France, Paris-Chauny. is on today too - if Démare can haul himself over the lumpy bits he should be a sprint fav, but it's a big if. Lots of other guys will probably make sure it's not a sprint. TV on now at Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/paris.chauny

God bless he who-shall-not-be-named and his website.

4 men breakaway with Mosca and Herregodts as the biggest engine.
3 men on a minute, with them Schonberger and Rickaert.
Peloton on a minute fifty
