The other day you said he had to buy the cake himself anyway, so I'll say he can have as much cake as he can afford.

I clearly said that he'd be allowed to buy a piece of cake if Fuglsang flew away and won the GC.
Then he demanded that I deliver the cake...

Cosnefroy won the stage.
I've got no clue who won the GC.

Cosnefroy won GC too. Nice job getting both 1st and 2nd, otherwise Albanese would have won GC.

Yeah AG2R played this weird all day but in the end they get everything, so fair play I guess.

FDJ also played this horrible, look at them with 3 in the top 10.

We're writing down debuts by Oscar Chambo, Hoydahl, Brennan, Pattinson and the stolen Colombian, courtesy of Italy, Juan David Sierra in Umag this week. There's also Redae, an Ethiopian with Axeon that was highly regarded until he disappeared of the map for 3 years due to covid.

Stealing talent abroad might be the only way to resurrect Italian cycling.
Lorenzo Finn is next in line.

And Jakub Mareczko contested a sprint of a select group on a hilly race, who would have thought.
A 'hilly race' only by Mareczko's standards... 1213 metres of elevation and pretty much all of those in false flats. The main reason that it was a reduced sprint anyway is that it's a 1.2 race.

Welsford won last year (but is not here this year), so we're looking at a sprint probably (unless De Gendt decides to ride off in the breakaway). a whole bunch of guys could win so it'll come down to who feels good on the day.
