I don't not want to be the first with De Lie right now lmao.

He was coming here to find the good feeling again, and even tho he looked pretty strong (so form seems somewhat fine again), he crashes again, doesn't only miss out on the win but also on the podium because he rides a dumb sprint.

I kind of hoped Jarnet would have come back and done a Leroux, but Steimle was probably always going to win that sprint. A shame that Fouché lost the chance to be a part of the final.

I'd like to see the photo finish between De Lie and Van Gestel.

Well there's no time for ifs and buts, tomorrow (Friday) is ...
Bredene Koksijde Classic (1.pro) 201.2 km start at 12.20 CET, TV from 14.30 CET

There's bound to be some late minute team changes after today, but the likes of Milan and Groenewegen will no doubt fight it out for the win.

Yeah Milan is definitely not starting this as he's at the start in MSR the day after.

This will be a very interesting race for once btw. after the hill sections it's basically tail-crosswind (over 30km/u) till the circuit in Koksijde.

ah, the Primavera van het Noorden, aka the real deal. There won't be much rain, if at all, by the look of it.

Think Baroncini broke something. Couldn't move his left arm after the crash (one of those guys that's made for bad luck it seems). Others all finished.

Apparently there was a big crash in the peloton just before the live broadcast. That was the reason why there were splits already and why there was no one working in the peloton. UAE was involved with a lot of riders apparently.

Damn! Even worst than I feared. That can easy be 5-6 months out.
if it is a nice fracture without surgery he would be back in competition around 3 months or so.

By the way, was it Turner who broke his elbow in Omloop last year and rode the E3 after 1 month?

If it was Roubaix yesterday (Thursday) no one would have complained.

"The escapees seemed to be struggling on the last cobblestone section, until Küng suddenly slid away and knocked over almost everyone. Also De Lie. "It's super dangerous there every year. Stefan Küng fell first, but it is certainly not his fault."
