Seems like a very interesting last stage in Denmark with first Lutsenko closing to within 4 seconds on Boaro through bonuses and then a break going away and holding on on what is normally a stage for the sprinters.

Valgren wins the GC after joining the group and then fighting back after a puncture.

Bak second, Boaro third.

Boem-Agnoli-Mortensen top-3 on the stage

I wonder what Agnoli was doing in that group. No surprise Astana couldn't pull the group back then.

Can't blame Agnoli for riding for himself, he needs a contract for next year as well guys :p. He usually only gets one top 5 a year, but here he has two in the same race.

No way Nibbles would let his training companion stand without a contract for next year ;)

Which race? The 2005 Giro prologue was about a km long for example.

51.3 average by my calculations

Edit: and I think that there have been even shorter stages than the 2005 Giro prologue

Thanks for the responses.
Any really. I know 6-8 Km prologues are somewhat common, but I was a little surprised by how short this one was....just wanted to see some times from other prologues this short. Also thanks for the average speed.

Shocking result.

I think the first time any Kreder has done anything ever and there's like twelve of them.

You're overreacting a bit. It's not even Raymond's first win this season, and Michel had some respectable WT results earlier in his career top10 overall in Catalunya and Vattenfall for example, also 2nd in Gran Premio Miguel Indurain in 2010 against strong opposition.

Stage sounded uneventful with slow pace, but a good win for Kreder:
