wow pozzato. People can call him a pussy all they want but have not seen many riders get up that quick with a broken collarbone

Marko Kump wins Velothon Stockholm.

Edit: and the field was very weak, much like at Velothon Wales. The Velothon dudes need to get it together.

Well, Jens Debusschere won - not just his second win in three editions, but his second win in three days!

I thought that Golas won?

My mistake! The race jury disqualified Debuscherre.

@jensdebus

Thx @GroenewegenD to f*ck up for both of us. I would feel sorry if I did something wrong but this is not the case. Anyway hope you are OK.

He's absolutely right. Race jury must've been drunk. Groenewegen trying to pass where he cannot pass, touches DB and crashes.

Very hard punishment for Debusschere. I don't think he does something really wrong. His elbow comes only after Groenewegen gets out of balance.

+1

Just an update: Groenewegen broke his knee.

There was just enough room for Groenewegen, but Debusschere clearly closed the door. Correct decision by the jury.
Nonsense.
10 cm is not nearly enough room (on the first picture you can see JDB is about to push his right pedal, meaning he will be moving slightly to the right) + the road is not even straight. Last picture is from after they touched, as mentioned above. Groenewegen took enormous risks and paid for it. But too bad JDB has to pay for this as well (although he was lucky to stay upright himself).

Does this look like 10 cm:

There clearly is enough room and Debusschere is clearly closing the door.

This is before the contact:

Note how much the gap has narrowed down and that Debusschere is still riding slightly to the right, while Golas and Groenewegen are riding straight ahead.

You have to take the slight curve in the road into account though

Yep, Debusschere didn't turn to his right, rather the road closed on him. Groenewegen got sandwiched, but not really Debusschere's fault.
