And then he bumped into Halvorsen who lost the win to Groves on the line.

Halvorsen did get the win. Well done by him and Uno-X.

Meanwhile there's less than 10 km left in Italy, where Williams and Pernsteiner control the pace for Colbrelli.
Can he do it once more, or will it finally be Trentin time again?

Sagan's fourth stage race victory is within reach: Giro di Sardegna (2011), Tour de Pologne (2011), Tour of California (2015), and possibly now Tour de Slovaquie (2021).

Looks like it could be a day for the break over in Slovakia. Not least because Sagan himself is in the break.
Or maybe it's a rather reduced peloton, I dunno...

Sagan and Steimle have both collected 4 bonus seconds on the route today, so the gap between them in GC is still 5''.

And Steimle is all alone in the group.

How did Bora even pull this off? Looking at the profile it seemed extraordinarily flat for such a development to come to pass.

Sagan should have no problem with Steinle as Groves who was strong yesterday is in the front group

Less than fourty days after breaking his knee in Burgos...

And I think he might even have managed to sneak into the break. Saw a rather short Qhubeka rider at the back of the group.
Edit: Yup! It's him.
