A while back, when reviewing Genting Highlands for my Race Design Thread version of Langkawi, I suggested Movistar should probably have taken a look at Kevin Rivera on a flyer off of the post-RusVelo waiver wire. However, they basically already have a better version of him in Iván Sosa, he has a lot of the same flaws and issues that have stalled him out, but in the right environment he can remind you why he was so highly rated in the first place.

While he's a similar type of rider, a specialists for MTFs after a rather easy stage, his ceiling is much higher. After all he managed to win the gc in Burgos twice in a row at a young age. From what I know his actual racing weight is also clearly lower than the often listed 58kg (I've seen him listed at 51kg and looking at how skinny he is for such a short guy that wouldn't even surprise me).
