When you have terminal cancer and youre only 25 and you know youre going to die life becomes hopelessly bleak. When a star like Lance Armstrong unexpectedly shows up in your hospital room it is like the sun shining into a very dark place . I know most of you derogatory a*+wipes dont believe me but you dont even have to be a star. Why dont some of you go to the local cancer ward and visit with a terminal kid or whoever is there. Just sit and chat with them . Then youll understand what I have learned from Lance.
I guarantee its way more useful information than the pathetic mudslinging i have seen here foisted by a pack of hyenas that contribute exactly what to the world ?

"if THERE ARE ENOUGH OF THEM even a pack of mangy hyenas can bring down a lion..."

Lets face folks ...lance is a lion....

and you.....

I remember seeing this documentary on lions, and the dominant lion grew old. At the end, he was dying, and his tail was rotting off. He had been vanquished by a stronger lion and was left to roam alone trying to find food. You're right, Lance is a lion.

btw, I have done hours and hours of work with kids with cancer, so take your moralizing and shove it up your a$$. I started doing it years before Lance was diagnosed with cancer. I didn't need that douchebag to teach me anything. In fact, his usage of cancer patients as a cover for his doping makes him worse than a douchabag. You are a fan of a fraud douchebag, what does that make you?

What have I learned?

Well for one thing that this guy brings both the best and the worst out of people. And the distinction between hero and villain is not always as simple as we might like it to be. It's not like the Westerns where the villain has a black hat and the hero a white one. Real life is a little more complicated.

Pop quiz (Hero or Villain?) John McEnroe, Michael Schumacher, Tiger Woods?

:)

John McEnroe = Good for the game and good at what he did
Michael Schumacher = Good for the game and good at what he did
Tiger Woods = Good for the game and good at what he does.

Lance wears a black and white striped hat and black bibs with a white jersey.;)

sorry dude I cant buy the honesty thing. You see when there are ONLY Allegations that means there are only hypothesis concerning an event or person. Until PROVEN in law or science the hypothesis is at best semi informed conjecture. Admittedly in LA s case there is a lot of circumstantial evidence from landis who like yourself is an incredibly honest person who has no axe to grind whatsoever and from lemond also a very clear honest person who also has no axe whatsoever (that probably none of us can think of:_) to grind well eXcept for the trek thing and the faded yesterdays news has been star replaced by lance thing and frankie boy who also like yourself is incredibly honest (well except for the bit in court where he was publicly forced to recant a few lies about LA :)has no axe to grind either well except maybe for the 500K Lance wouldnt fork over to him for a bike shop...but hey im just being honest here... and all of them like yourself are really clearly motivated people just wanting to make the world a place that is safe from the brooding conspiracy and evil that is armstrong.... Now then if it was a case where la was accused then proven to be a cheat etc you would be honest and I would be offering you praise and accolades but that is clearly not the case here. we are still dealing with allegations which may or may not be true ,however, which when voiced without proof from where I sit sound like the snarlings of a pack of disgruntled mangy...what was it again? oh yes ...hyenas...if you actually were honest you wouldnt be trading in allegations that havent been proven and acting as if they already had. Lets be totally clear about what honesty really is here since obviously the concept seems to be eluding you. ...as for las "profiting" from cancer...do you HONESTLY have any idea of how many thousands of cancer patients he has visited? how many he has helped?.do you have any idea of what it is like to have given up on life and have someone of his stature come through the doOr of yoUR room and sit by you while you lie there hopeless and dying ?.YOU WOULD DENY THAT THAT TO MANY THAT SUFFER AND IF HE FALLS YOU WILL DENY IT ..how many MILLIONS of dollars he has raised and DONATED to research and how exactly many $$$ he has taken form the foundation as founder? .c'mon lets have at least a little tiny bit of honesty from you and the other hyenas...come up with detective work on that and maybe ill give you the tiniest bit of street cred...until then...try to work on the honesty thing because none of you are...
I raced for quite awhile and had my *** kicked by some guys I knew were doping and I hated it..It Is infuriating to train your *** off only to lose to a known doper. MAYBE THE DOPING DIDNT M,AKE THEM FAST MAYBE THEY TRaineD BETTER THAN I DID however If lance is found guilty ill be the first in line to kick him in the ball...but for just one second...what if he isnt? what if he actually is a freak of nature? will you be lining uop to apologize for the hyena routine if he dioesnt fall?...I can tell you that honestly as a cancer survivor I would never put anything in my body that could cause me to be ill again...ditto for EVERY SURVIVOR i know .cant honestly speak for La tho...
Im all for honesty ...lets actually keep it that way...but I know thats a lot to ask from a hyena...;)

Holy poorly capitalized, run on sentence. Someone needs to be swooped up by the grammar police.

How very interesting. My comments are directed to my perception of Lance and yours are directed at your perception of me. Lance is a public figure. I'm a guy posting comments on a message board.

I have no interest in earning your street cred for there will never be a more worthless endeavor.

John McEnroe: Most entertaining tennis player of all time. Almost no groove to his backhand, the most awkward looking forehand of all time, took himself out of matches with his emotions. But at the same time insane volleying touch around the net, and his lefty slice serve wide to the ad court, I don't think he ever lost a really important point in the ad court on his serve. Oh yeah and he won solely on emotion as well. Post career he has been nothing short of exemplary, other than when he tries to play the guitar.
Michael Schumacher: He ahh, well his brother seems like a nice guy, and he sure can drive a car fast.
Tiger Woods: He makes horny look like a really bad thing. Real good golfer though.

coulda swore the post was that YOU were honest like so many other hyenas ...I actually replied to THAT bit of disinegniousness and illogical thread.
as for grammar so what doesnt change the fact of hyena behavior .
Im not moralizing about anything just think if people spent their time offering something positive to the world instead of negative what a lovely place this would be...everyone is howling aobut doping...are they going to go aftger indurain as well? odd that lemond hasnt gone after him? why not ? he was leadign the pelotoin when greg said there were "Two speeds"...ive ridden with lemond and let me tell you the mofo was speed on wheels...he probably knows what eh was talking about then , however, lets change the future not obsess over the past... if we go after lance then surely fignon, indurain, merckx, hinault etc...where does it stop?

Come on, let's keep this one on topic without drawing every other rider ever into it (I knew this thread would end up like this). Can we stick to what we have learned from Lance? :)

sorry rudeforthought disagreeing with you doesnt make me a criminal . However your angry biased CONJECTURES are at this point are sadly only that as they are unproven. Ever looked up the definition of libel? you are engaging in it., That makes you a criminal. Im not a criminal just someone who holds dear this abosurd idea that in america we should be innocent till proven guilty and not tried and hung in the court of public opinion created by the likes of incredibly honest individuals like FL whom you are evidently a huge fan of so exactly what other than a criminal engaging in libel does that make you? :D

Point to some Indurain douchebaggery.

LeMond was "speed on wheels?" You make this dig at LeMond without one scintilla of evidence and then defend LA? Now who's being dishonest?

You write of Fignon, Indurain, Merckx, Hinault but don't want to discuss the past....

You must be in politics.

you misunderstood me...I actually was honestly wowed by Gregs speed and didnt mean to imply he was on "speed". maybe shouldve said he was a "fireball on wheels" he was..:D he left myself and everyone else behind as if we were sitting still. I chalk that up not to dope but to natural ability and training .
so why isnt the same POSSIBLY TRUE FOR LANCE? Some of the assertions aobut lances performances have come from lemond tho not all and I am the first to agree that there is a large body of "circumstantial " evdience that points to dioping . That being said but still unproven in a court fo law.. I think it is also true that for roughly 180 other riders in any of the tours that Greg Lemond won there was the pelotons speed..then his...does the fact of winning the tour automatically make you a doper?

probably not tho the great eddy M once said,"anyone that thinks you win the tour without strong medicine is either naive or stupid."
thta being said from someone who would probalby know a bit more than me can we assume lemond was the first? perhpas lance was the second? at this point only CONJECTURE for either,,,to imply otherwise is to simply engage in CRIMINAL behavior tho the french do seem to revel in that as regards slander...

I just hope Lance agrees with your assertion of criminality. I strongly urge Lance to advise his legal team to file suit against all of us who have reached a conclusion.

I wonder why Lance hasn't sued Floyd... care to guess?

Alrighty then...

Lessee... lessons from Lance.

I have learned that Lance fans will twist their reasoning into interesting shapes in order to continue to support their hero.

Please if there are any more lessons to learn .....

People who line vicariously through the accomplishments of their “heroes” become deranged when something threatens that. By necessity, they become more defensive and delusional in order to preserve the story. Some people get over it, though..

Dont think theres any dosh to be gained from suing Landis but whats realy telling is theres been no " seise and disist " order ( assuming thats in American law?")
Wouldnt that be the simple option if somone was publicly slandering you?
Mind you,...if they were telling the truth its a differant story eh?:D

I've learned that Lance 'owns' Phil L., Paul S., B. Roll and maybe even VERSUS, because given the chance to talk about doping from 1999-2005 and in the last two years they 'highlighted' every one of those other dirty Europeans...even though Lance beat them with ease.

Must be the high cadence or training 'on' the bike for 8 hours a day.
