Abandon Redoute forever.

Bring back MvdP. He would have attacked already.
I doubt it. He is nowhere near as good a climber as many others Here while he would probably be the best sprinter

So dissapointing :(

Why does everyone always wait in this race. I dont get it. Specially not from some riders without punch/sprint.

Nibali is confident, he perfected his sprints in Tour of the Alps.

Côte de La Redoute - so many possibilities, so little influence on the race. Same thing since the birth of Christ.

Dno who to solve Liege. Maybe ditch Roche or make a route that's not including Redoute in some way to mix things up.

This turns out into a MSR, just a bit shorter and with a few more hills.

They have to find a bunch of hills in succesion between 20 - 40km and then all flat.

Ofcourse the solution is to ditch RaF.

I'd love to see the section before La Redoute be made harder. Maybe take a few of the early hills out.

There's this weird thing about people praying for rain every race but it does tend to turn into a race of attrition whenever it does actually rain. riders are less inclined to attack, and this isn't a one off, it's a recurring theme tbh

It's too early to dismiss the route.
Tough weather and premiere edition are affecting the racing.

It's getting more serious now.

The big Problem of this race is it's name. There are plenty hard climbs around La Redoute but because the race has to go all the way to bastogne and back they have to take a relatively straight forward route. Therefore the section before la redoute is way too easy and attacking there is suicide. Ditching RaF would clearly help but it's not as simple as that.
