When is Fisher-Black is also able to stay with the best, it's not going to be easy to catch Reusser, but Demi will probably attack at some point anyway.

Well, Lippert didn't look that great on La Redoute, but she's now attacking immediately on her return.

The interesting thing will be how much time Reusser gains on the flat while the bunch are hesitant. There's no impetus there, and this is where Marlen has the upper hand. She's a great engine, but she's not an equivalent puncheuse to the likes of those in the group behind. But she'll smash pretty much all of them on the flat so unless they buck their ideas up and get a bit more coherence to the chase it'll be irrelevant that people in that group can outclimb her.

SD worx really made womens racing so f... boring
With AvV seemingly fading, the stages races are also in risk of being a SD Worx show..
Eta. CUL not looking good, might be a bit banged up from her crash fest at Fleche.

A bit of impact from the bunch and suddenly the gap tumbles right down. Lippert seems to have good burst, but not the endurance today, she made the selection with her move, and then did the Iivo Niskanen thing... drop everybody including herself.

Reusser can lose time on RaF, but it doesn't look like anyone apart from Vollering could have the legs to bridge across.

The teams are just not racing that cleverly against SD works. trek gave up so much time because they backed spratt against reusser & then let her hang out during the attacks. That gap could be 20-30 sec instead of a minute. Will be probably a one-two. Lippert doesn't look good today and as always spent to much with bad attacks.

I guess the thing is that we're now seeing what the last while would have been like without van Vleuten and Vos being OP. They were just so powerful that they on their own prevented it being a one team show, kinda like an exaggerated version of the Sagan vs. a huge QS armada days.

This would be a pretty interesting scenario brewing today without Vollering sitting there looking like Godzilla..
