Reusser back off away with Elisa. Trek have played this well, to now even the numbers with SD Worx, but SD Worx have the sprint option that Trek don't. Reusser also not helping ELB because of that, she has the benefit of a) having already been away and caught so can take a bit of a rest, and b) she has her leader behind, while ELB is her team leader and can they really trust Realini from the group behind?

Annemiek looking racier than she has done all season.

Nevermind, Demi riding across and over. Assume Marlen is finally done now.

She has a better chance if she sits in than if not of course; wonder if ELB working means Trek is just happy with a podium today, or if they think ELB has a better chance one on one than in a small group.
Working here guarantees at least 2nd. If they had van Anrooij or somebody who has a chance from the group behind they might play games and gamble that 2nd, but on the current finish I don't think they can use Realini's placement opportunities from the group behind as a bargaining chip, maybe they would have done on the old Ans finish (still probably pretty fanciful against the likes of Annemiek) but not on the current one.
