You would be wrong. It's a full on pursuit between katusha/lotto and the cavendish group

i will watch this in italian. tbh i should have been doing it before. i understand what they say and the eurosport guys are just dull. almost looks like they are commentating snooker and have to whisper and talk without any kind of emotion for 90% of the time.

I'm following the Gazetta feed for the last 30 min. It's good. Right now Cipollini is on the phone. Earlier they had Basso.

Uh, and it's an exciting race already.

Kelly thinks that Cancellara will go 600m before the end like Tour stage 3 2007. Id think hell try to go a bit earlier than that.

hahah got to love cippolini. he is on the phone with the gazzetta guys. and the commentators told him that in the past few years there has been some sort of "fair play" in the peloton that would make people in the front in this kind of situation but that wasn't happening today and asked for his thoughts on the situation. and his words were "show must go on"

Right. I loved it, too.

Falls and mechanicals are part of the game.

Looks like this is set up for a non-sprinter to win with a smaller first group.

Greg van avermaet! Ale Ballan! Only a few favourites missing.

Stuff it..

Greg van Avermaet ftw!:p
