I'll go for Westra to come second and lose out to someone who hasn't been sighted again

1. Sergent
2. Westra
3. Devolder

I would love to see Devolder winning it but Durbridge, Westra, Tuft and Sergent have better chances

Nobody is mentioning Sylvain Chavanel any more, like he has dropped out, but he is still very much in with a shout.

The thing is I just can't see Chavanel winning this ITT.

I'm more surprised about Scheirlinckx, I thought he might need some more racing to get in shape for the Ronde after his injury. The results following his crash in Nokere Koerse do not look promising

he still suffers indeed, maybe some rest after the last two days...

Travis Meyer rides the same time as the winning time by Rosseler last year.

they took the course the other way around last year, that may have influenced the times

but nevertheless it's a great time, in 2010 it was the same course and Meyer just smashed David Millar's time by 12 seconds.

Yeah ofcourse and the wind is different each year.

But still it's a very very good time. Could win the time trial. Too bad Meyer lost so much time in the GC

edit: or not, Oliveira pretty close. And Oliveira was 11 seconds slower at the split

DeMol: "Jesse is not on great form. He's been ill. I rate Markel Irizar higher than Sergent. Tuft or Durbridge biggest favourites."

Wish I'd read that before my prediction :(
