Have you, or have you not, stated that everybody posting in here except the ones agreeing with you, are idiots?

I haven't used the word idiot have I? Granted I called someone who was scathing, and had called me crank, a half-wit. I think because he lives at altitude his brain has been starved of oxygen. All's fair in love and war.

Mind you I do think these seem to be plenty who have less than twenty/tweny vision.

Haha. No, of course your e-mail has nothing to do with the change of the TT-route. Are you being serious here? No one from ASO has never even read your first or second mail. And I like how you think you are the most enthusiastic cycling fan in here because you are planning to go to France... I can assure you that no one in here has never been at the Tour De France or at any other bike race. That's one thing certain...

No one has never even read the emails. Ah so they read them then.

Regarding the reference to planning a trip to the Tour de France and passion for the sport etc, trying to ensure no ones had their race spoiled by the level crossings, that was to do with the content of the email - because I was anticipating some of the pee-takers jumping on it and hey, guess what I was right to.

So you forgot about this post:

Okey. I will be more precise.
If there is a talk about about all time best in sprinting, talk will be about Cippolini, Pettachi, Cavendish, Zabel. Not about Boonen, Boonen is not even mentioned.

But if there is a talk about all time best in classics, well, things change.

I don't even think there will be much discussion about who's the greatest sprinter of all time once Cavendish is done; except maybe for smug fanatics like Pistolero.

Ah hung drawn and quartered then! Actually that was a typo - I got my vowells confused (tongue in cheek)

Look, it seems to me that if people ignore what preceeded the accident, the Ciolek switch earlier and Haussler's clear shoulder barge (which clearly knocks Cavendish off balance suddenly when looked at in slow motion even) then yes, they are daft.

I feel strongly about this incident because I have a sense of justice, and I was upset at the time that all the blame was 'shouldered' by Cavendish.

Thee commissaires should have penalised Ciolek for the earlier Switch, Cav for changing his line and Haussler for knocking Cav off balance (had he merely leant on him they may have recovered the situation).

I'm bound to be fighting a losing battle with people who have come on here to knock Cav - but I couldn't help myself because some of the criticism is a joke. You show me the climber with Cav's build. Show me the sprinter who has never deviated from their line.

When it comes to trying to demonstrate that I felt strongly enough about the accident at the time, and explaining I'd corresponded with UCI etc - I was trying to explain that the only way you can achieve something is not by spouting opinions here but by actually puting concerns in black and white.

Now I have respect for you in particular because you maybe have been less annoyed, (or displayed less annoyance), but I have to say that you nitpicked even when some of your content is actually in alignment with mine. Sometimes it feels as if people disagree just for the sake of it, not because of what the truly believe.

I'll second that.

Just wait until he's lost his puppy fat, I think in the future he'll have the majority on this particular thread eating their words.

The best of Cavendish is yet to come.

...and the voices in his head told him that Americans don't like Cav because they are fans of Farrar, anybody who disagrees with him is a Johnny-come-lately to the sport, everyone who cannot see the crash was really Haussler's fault has never raced a bike, everyone who doesn't agree with him is an idiot, and on and on. Face it. This guy is whack, a real nutter. Fanboy doesn't do what we have here justice. It's something scary. Even the worst Armstrong excuse-boys don't reach this level of man-love.

I honestly don't get why people here are still obsessing about the Haussler crash like that. **** happens in sprints. Sometimes blame can be assigned clearly, sometimes not.

Cavendish still has to take crap for something that happened two years ago and riders like Abdu and ****ing McEwen are being idolised? How many people did those make crash during their careers? And how many times did either of them apologise for hurting other riders?

Oh, dear ...

As the HMS Genoa slowly sinks beneath the waves ...

You're not really helping your cause with THAT attitude.

He is taking crap not for the crash but for how he treated Haussler afterward. That is where he showed what a true low life POS he is. If he had simply treated it as a racing incident and walked away then it would be long forgotten. Instead we have nutjobs trying to excuse his behavior by coming up with ever more fanciful explanations about how it was not Chav's fault.

You're a card aren't you, its a shame this is just black and white because you obviously cant tell when someone's tongue is in their cheek.

Even when presented with correspondence that is pure, common sense you deride it as coming form a crank. I think that's the pot calling the kettle black (if you are going to criticise me for calling people twits for ignoring plain evidence). How can you suggest it is cranky for instance to question whether its a good idea that a Tour TT course is littered with level crossings?

I think what you don't like is someone coming on here and knowing just a little bit more than you do, and because you do you like throwing stones back. As for the comparison with Armstrong excuse -boys and man-love WTF are you on about? My standing on that one incidentally is that I cannot stand the fraud.

Why didn't you include his Tour de France stage wins and Green Jerseys there?

Cavendish is well on his way to surpass those palmares, although I don't think he'll ever finish in the top10 of the Tour. :D

I only posted one season of Freddy. :)

Classic crank behavior. Once exposed for what he is, he backs off and tries to claim it was all a joke. I know what you are. You wore your bigotry on your sleeve when you barged into the thread and made unfounded and patently stupid accusations that Chav's detractors were mostly americans, who, in the mind of your delusional world, must be fans of Farrar. Yeah, it's all an American conspiracy, dude. That's it. It's not that Chav has shown time and time again that he is a jerk. It's the bad ol' Americans who have it in for him. I guess it should not come as a surprise that the fanboy of a jerk is also a jerk.

I think you are the nutjob mate. If you think Haussler didn't knock Cav off after watching the slow-mo in the youtube link I posted then quite frankly its you who needs carting off in a straight jacket. I've camped at 2400m on the Galibier for a night and it hasn't done me as much harm as the rarified atmosphere at 5000ft has done you.

Was it as stupid an accusation as the one you made about Cav being mean to his parents? I doubt it.

Good on you Hatcher - this twerp needs dealing with!

Hey BroDeal, don't go using the old bromance card that was my joke! You'll probably bounce back with some inane comment about man-love now. Well for all I know Hatcher could be a lady.

Nope, just waiting for you to post more of your bigotry about Americans. Go ahead, dude. We know you want to.
