But he didn’t, even though he knows every downhill section best which would mean he could’ve won the stage. I think they were just equally strong. But Jorgenson deserved it because he rode more intelligently.
He waited for Evenepoel a couple of times in the descent.

Remco helped distancing McNulty so Jorgenson had no reason to sprint.
Not sure what that has to do with it. Even if they would’ve sprint for it, Evenepoel would have won, but that wouldn’t mean he was stronger than Jorgensen this week.

Vaughters already wasn't a fan of Plugge, but within half a year's time an American on Plugge's team has won a GT and now also a major one week stage race. That's got to irk a little bit.

Vaughter's suffers from too much self assurance. If he has an irritation about another DS success he'd certainly pronounce that. As for these two Americans riding for another team he JV can look in the mirror and admit he's a serious D*CK and most American riders know it. He'll screw you over at some point.

What I notice with Vaughters is that he presents every new rider as the second coming of Christ, if only they got a little more love they could beat the whole world, and when they inevitably fail you won't hear him about said rider ever again. Not always though, Ben Healy is a major discovery. I can't think of a lot of others though.
