Also ray j wilings is a troll account which seems to exist purely to cause distruption.

But the mods as a whole seem to have left the forum recently.

Yeah been wondering about the lack of moderation lately. If the front page is going to set the tone for a new group of moderators I imagine The Clinic will become very different very quickly.

The lack of moderation as of late, is not helping this forum at all. As someone whom reads regularly but does not post much, it is quickly becoming a waste of my time to even open the site. Internet p*ssing matches and personal attacks, more and more of which are not only personal but ethnically sensitive, is not the type of content that will keep people coming back. More revenue is the point of the forum redo isn't it.

Time to read the "how do I delete my account thread".

This forum doesn't just blow, it plain old sucks.

It looks there are people here that forget very easily the rules.
You can take this as a final warning. All of you.

Be the goat.

I can't speak to motivation but I've wondered the same. Historically there has been little to no guidance on how to moderate the forum, in fact when I was a mod I thought the lack of any overriding philosophy and explicit goals for the forum created an environment of inconsistency. There was no guiding principle of moderation.

Lately I've come across several blatant personal attacks in threads (of which I was not involved) and reported them. I never saw action on either and was certainly surprised by the lack of moderator action. I have never felt that way before.

I am being taught that a) personal attacks are now acceptable and b) the moderators are not responding to reports as they used to.

Not sure why the apparent change or if it's just perception from a few incidents, but I definitely am wondering if some guidance has finally been offered, and if that guidance has been to give more leeway for whatever reason.

Mods? What's the story here? New guidelines? Random misses of long, drawn-out spats? Nothing has changed?

Feel free to daw your own messed up conclusions.

Hey, there wasn't a tone in my comment. Perhaps should have placed a smiley there. The thing is, you stop thinking it's just a joke when you see it over and over, morphed in different forms.

No tone needed.

He might be trolling elsewhere but the interactions I've seen or been part of haven't been and people love to jump on the band wagon. He posted a stupid picture as a joke, it's hardly trolling. It's not particularly funny, but not trolling.

It's time to cut The Hog some slack. There's so much trolling from all sides, that it seems unfair to make Hoggy sit in the corner.

And Dr. Mas needs to come back also. He's had a plenty long sit-down now, and I'd really like to see if Taxes4all could survive the Vortex.
