In the interview I posted here 3 posts ago he said he would make his debut in California, but now it seems he is making his debut in Croatia which starts in 8 days. Very excited to see him back on his bike!

Astana just announced their roster, Lopez is not on it :(. It was on some Colombian radio show that said that Lopez said he would be going to Croatia

Today in the Stage two of Giro, Goga said that we has already training in Europe but he suffered a contracture, so he have to go back to Colombia and maybe and he couldnt debut in TOC, maybe we will race in Suize again.

Out of California:

No way they are going to send him to the Tour now. What's the new plan for Astanas Tour? Surely they won't go with Fuglsang? All in for the Vuelta with Aru & Lopez?

Fuglsang with GC ambitions for a top 5 was always the main plan, not that i think he can make a top five.

Not the best season to be a Astana fan
Gonna be like watching Brajkovic fighting for a top 10 all over again

Good luck heading into the TDF with 7 race days - It will be training and experience for Lopez.
7 days of racing is crazy.

However, if there is a GT where you can do that is in this year's Tour de France. :D

Yeah the 2017 TDF route seems benign - Then again riders make the route.
