Too many words comrads. What about pictures? A picture is more meaningful than a thousand words... :D

Btw, since I don't want to be accused of "off-toping" this, there goes a photo of L & L:

Laura needs to start looking around since Purito had retired :D
I was scrolling though her Instagram and Purito was without a doubt the rider she was photographed with the most, whats up with that?!

Talk. There was talk :D

Can you blame her. Purito was not only the guy with the best humour, but he also had a 'flirting body language'. And Laura is a charming young lady, so 1 + 1 = 3 there :)

Contador on the other hand, doesn't really communicate with Laura in their interviews. Or maybe that's just me.

Contador is smart. Imagine the amount of money he'd have to pay to Macarena if things went south. :D

Great riding today! He really showed he would have been up there for the podium-fight without that stupid crash :(

On the other hand, we all know who's going to win 2 big mountain stages in the last week! :)

Landani great, I've never seen him in so much pain going down into that last hairpin, Dumoulin was just killing it. He showed he is in great shape and this isn't his kinda stage, look out!
Yes. Didn't he say he was going to use today to find out truly where his shape was against the GC guys, to determine whether he needed to go in a break to win a stage or if he was strong enough to win one straight up?

When has Landa ever been one of the strongest on an easy stage with this kind of finish, against such strong opponents?
I think we'll get one hell of a 3rd week.

Maybe he can form a alliance with Nairo in trying to break Big Tom!
Hmm yeah, I dont know.. its pretty complicated, what do you do on Tuesday? I mean, there is a long and flat valley road where its probably hard for Landa to get away. He can wait for the bottom of Mortirolo, but from then on, Movistar should try to tire Dumoulin so it might be hard to get away there. He could just play the game of sitting long wheels the whole day and try to win mano-a-mano.

But Landa and Quintana can attack on the earlier slopes of Stelvio. Though i hope there will already be fireworks on Mortirolo, i don't expect it to happen actually. But on Mortirolo Sky can send up some strong domestiques up the road, for example Henao, Rosa and Kyrienka. Movistar the same with Izagirre or De La Parte. If they can get a gap of + 2/3 minutes before Landa/Quintana reach the bottom of Stelvio, those domestiques can guide the two leaders through the long flat valley between Stelvio and Umbrailpass. If Landa and Quintana are able to drop Dumoulin on Stelvio ofc.

Then they can be compatriots on the final climb.

However, the fact there's a descent at the end might spoil things. Although i don't think there's much difference between Quintana and Landa descending-wise. So i think an alliance would be ideal in the Monte Grappa stage, but not so much in tomorrow's stage. I agree with you Landa will likely opt for a defensive approach tomorrowL just follow the best guys in the race and trying to sneek away in the end.

But let's wait till tomorrow. Can't wait! :)

What makes you think Landa will work with Quintana?

The question is: Can Landa claw back 44 minutes on Dumoulin the last week? Oh, the suspense....

The chances of that happening is actually not that bad. There's always a chance of an injury, illness, sudden loss of form, or an abandon.

Obviously even if that happens Landa will finish nowhere near the top 10.

Landa for the stage, Quintana for the GC.
