I love that feeling when riders hit Poggio and so on. It is really unpredictable from there to finish. It is prestigious race and one moment decide it.Everyone had one shot to strike. However by contrast with flemish classics or PR or Strade I will not bother to watch it until 15 km to go. I think this monument has pretty exciting finale because of its prestige ( although it is often bunch sprint) but generally it is kinda lame one day race nowadays.

Well, the longest-but-most-boring monument is almost upon us. Can't say I'm too excited.
Most exciting finale in pro cycling, though.
Flèche Wallonne ;)

Considering the general negativity on here... As a cycling fan, is it allowed to be excited for tomorrow? 'Cause I am.

Of course it's allowed! Don't let the negativity get you down. :)
I think forum rules quite clearly state being overly excited for MSR is a violation.

I'm super stoked to watch the last 40 km's or so, depending on what happened until then.
Miln San Remo embodies the beautiful aspects cycling in one race. The longest race on the calendar ensures a high attrition rate.
The final "climbs" allow for more than one type of rider to win the race.
No need to tune in until the last hour or so, but the last hour is awesome.

Thanks for the good laugh about FW buddy
Seriously, I think you've got a point here Alexandre. It is defintely one of the most interesting finale. So unpredictable, I love it. But yeah, just watch right before they hit the Cipressa and you're good to go!

Last year Amstel was great, but other than that the Ardennes classics are usually not better than MSR.
Just tune in right before the Cipressa, from then onwards is usually good to watch.
Of course I'm all for using Le Manie or a similar climb early on to make the race harder and to give attackers a better chance, but let's not pretend that it's the only boring one day race.

+1 for the Ardennes campaign. Amstel was pretty awesome but the rest was not worth watching.
Hoping for crazy scenario for tomorrow but a lot of sprinter teams are going to lock things down.

The MSR breakaway specialist Bono and Ganna are now both on the startlist, Marcato and Oliviero Troia got sick, both of them have fever.
