I find it hilarious that MVDP sat down on the couch, turned on the TV and just saw Pog alone with 80km.

Reminded of Flanders last year, VDP found himself a couple of minutes behind with like 200km to go because he was lollygagging at the back of the peloton, he got lucky that nobody bothered drilling it. If there's a similar moment of inattentiveness here they should try and take advantage.

Just from last week it’s seems he still has challenges with positioning at the start of important climbs, can’t imagine he would be any better at it in a 150-rider peloton starting up the Poggio!
He will not have any position problems within pog’s squad
