DQS managed to isolate Rogla from his teammates, but who needs help when you can stomp everyone else. He is making it look too easy and predictable.

If Roglic hadn't been there today, and Yates or Almeida had won against Pogacar, we would be saying here such a great win against a coming back in form Pogi, plus Valverde, Ala, Nibali, Quintana and many others. Because it was Rogla, just another day in the procycling circuit.

Many fight for victories all year long, Vincenzo, Fausto, many others.

I'm talking about the best GT guys of this generation. In recent decades there have has a trend of top GT guys to focus solely on 3-week races (usually omitting one-day races and even treating other stage races as warm ups).

It was as if he didn't give any importance to the ease with which he bridged back up to Yates but only focused on his apparent struggle when Pogi and Almeida were dropped too.

When the other commentator suggested that he had probably been bluffing - right when he bridged back up - he just said "nah, don't think so".
I don't think it was easy for him today at all. Yates was very very very strong today.

But yeah...in a finish like this, you bet on Rogla against any rider in the world but maybe Pogi at his peak week in the Tour.

He did look to have a hard time and if he had just been scrambling to the top all the way I would have had doubts but given that he was able to close a significant gap so fast should give a hint that he was probably not suffering that much.

Adam opened up the sprint way too early, plus did all the work to establish the final break. What a shame, but given Roglic has something the others lack, a turbo after-burner that destroys all would-be challengers, what could Yates have done otherwise? In any case, Primoz should shake Adam's hand for a noble effort.

Someone said (forum user) that his grimace might be because he is now more of a grinder than a spinner? He used to have above average cadance but this year it is not as noticable. Maybe it has to do something with a lot of TT training?
