Why don't we just play it by ear now for a bit? If one topic comes out that is thread-worthy, open a new thread for it and give it a go. But don't open a new thread for every single thought you have.

Ah the joys of being a mod: too many threads are bad, one big thread is bad -- how lovely that everyone knows how to do the mods job better than they do themselves. ;)

Is there a reason why my my comment about my bro TFF was deleted?

Maybe I should put this in the "This forum blows" thread.

Suggestions that a member be given another member's password in order to run amok are not acceptable, even as a joke.

Susan

Humor is highly regulated. A smile is ok but a giggle is frowned upon. A belly laugh? Nope, strictly forbidden.

That the guy who wanted his account closed could give TFF his password for a day and tell him to go to town.

No joking allowed by the nanny on this site.

Is this some new rule you just came up with? No obvious jokes allowed.

It was moderator approved too :D I like how the mods all work together like that, for each other :D

My comment on how that mod must really love the other mods is also for some odd reason vanquished :D

It wasn't intended as a joke. It was intended as a comment on how absurd the account termination rules are for this forum.

Since you're seeking affirmative feedback . . . I'm sure the moderators thought that your report was offensive.

AC discussion thread carnage

I don't like Parrulo deleting without any criteria 30+ posts in "AC discussion thread" - especially mine post because IMO it was on topic in the second paragraph where i was refering to AC fanboys - and that is OT only if the half of remaining posts in thread are also deleted. These inconsistent criteria leave bad injustice aftertaste.

eh?

i agree with mp4-4a it's not that my post was deleted but that rules are not administered equally

a mod jumps in and deletes a bunch of posts but ignores earlier posts setting a precedence for later posts which may be determined to be 'off topic'

but there is always going to be differing interpretation as to what exactly is on or off topic

a certain leeway must be allowed?

Isn't it ironical that Parrulo is threatening with bans for off topic in the AC discussion thread while he was the one who started the off topic discussion.

I dont think that any here can argue that it was high time the moderators cleaned up that thread and sometimes in an overall upheaval some other aspects get affected as well, just the way things are.

They didn't even clean up the thread. They just got rid of the person that keeps polluting it.

Plenty of people disagree, bit arrogant to project your opinion onto everybody else.
