Yup. With Contador and Vino ready to swing into action in Paris-Nice and Tirreno Adriatico, the team will have quite the early season record.

And don't forget Oscar as well

Nice result for Löf/vkvist there. I hope he does well this season.

Ya, I'm excited to see what he can do in Fleche Wallonne this year

Not baiting, but if you make those kinds of statements you've got to know you'll get an earful if you're wrong.

You going on an early morning ride at 6am? I was thinking about it, but i watching some Dexter on dvd and i didn't realise how late it was. Was about to go to bed when i thought i'd see how Eroica went, sadly it seems the Aussie riders did crap all. So now i'm off to bed, but i think i'll skip the morning ride in favour of some sleep....

Well, I need to see the feed, but Mick came in 3rd and Evans apparently threw in some attacks, so I would not say they did crap all :)

Accoring to the cyclingnews write up there was a 3way sprint between Iglinsky, Löfkvist and Rogers so he was certainly right up there.

Live coverage 1300h - 1545 cet, just dont know where yet.. not any of the Rai channels anyway..

Dim I bought myself a Euro dish and can pick up Rai3 from London. Also has all the French & Belgium channels. Really couldn't look at live streams on the interweb anymore.

Good investment.

I have just received a carrier pigeon message that Iglinsky of Astana has won the Strade Bianche, signed by the official organisers of the race. They go on to say that full results MAY be available tomorrow provided they can trap and train another pigeon in time.

Wait, how the heck did the rest of you get results so quickly. Can you decode morse or something?

:rolleyes::(:confused::rolleyes:

Ive thought about that, but maybe moving soon, so holding off until we know what we are doing. Used to have an old anolog dish on a mount that we'd switc to the various hotbird satellites but it got stormed on one night and never recovered. :(

Right, we had 55 minutes of coverage.
Started with highlights, then up went the helicopter and we had the last 25km "as live", so they could had gone live, if Rai Sport had had a free slot.:(
The Strada Bianche was drying out. Some dust, some mud.
Riders who looked good and ended up at the head of the race:
Maxim Iglinsky : Very strong, at one point bridged to an attacking Cancellara, then caught TL, MR and RH to make the final selection.
Thomas Löfkvist : Was pulling the peloton, early on. Lost, because he and MI had a bit of a tussle at the top of the final climb. MI won and got the line into the final corner.
No sprint between the lead 3, all about breaking on the last downhill bend.
3 Michael Rogers: Looked strong at 20kms out, but was the weakest of the podium, on the final climb, which cost him.
4 Filippo Pozzato: Smooth, bridged to the top 4, just before the final climb, but dropped off, when TL put the hurt on.
5 Ryder Hesjedal: By far the strongest, climbing the final steep strada, but dropped off first on the Sienna climb.

Others to show, when it counted.
Enrico Gasparotto: Got away and lasted a few km out the front.
Fabian Cancellara: Well, was FC.
J A Flecha: Continues to look classical. Was away, with Mr Rogers at 20kms.

Brief Appearances from: Vince Nibs, Stefano Garzelli....

I just got a standard digibox from Maplin and wired it up to a 'normally' orientated 'sky' dish (28degrees E I believe:confused:) but put a twin LNB on it.

It's therefore basically 'freesat' with the added bonus of Belgian, Italian, French etc..TV as well.

Handy to have at a 2nd TV and gives numerous options when Eurosport aren't playing.

But maybe, just maybe SKYSPORTS will pull their finger out eventually and sort us some coverage of their team!? It really shouldn't be too difficult.

Bruyneel: "What Vinokourov and Kascheskin messed with isn't my mistake and except for those two there's nobody in Kazakhstan. Yes, three domestiques, including two (Iglinskiy & Bazza) I'm not trusting and a bunch of young guys who aren't ready for the Tour de France. I'm being judged on the results and the international image of the team, not on the image of the team in a godforsaken country such as Kazakhstan."

I guess it's a good answer, Mr Bruyneel!
