Last 30 minutes of the race will be up in about, 2 hours ish in good quality..

On its way up now, each part will take about 25 minutes to go up. Being put up in reverse order, so finish first, then the previous ten minutes etc.

Very cool. Are you giving Paris-Nice the same treatment?

Possibly, depends what happens about tirreno. If i can get both on flash streams then i can rip both the streams at the same time no problem at all, if not, then generally tirreno finishes half hour earlier so it will be the last 20 minutes of tirreno, and then the last 20 minutes of paris nice. A bit too much to try and record both races to dvd and rip them and edit them both up quick enough to be of intrest.

20 minutes of each each day is enough i think. Will depend on the stage as well, if its a sprint then i just record the last 5k, if its more interesting then longer.

you get that when part 5 is up..

but bear in mind, if you look early you will only get the finish. the longer you wait, the more of the race you get.. ;)

Edit: Change of plan.. going up in this order..

Part 5 (Final kilometres)
Part 1
Part 2
Part 3
Part 4

Woh! From what I saw Evans looked devastating, he was killing them. 56 out of 65 finnishers what a top effort. I bet those other guys (whoever they were) didnt even know what hit them when Cuddles went to the front.

PS....AusTricycle Are you now going to run off to the Clinic and ***** and moan about how all the guys that beat him are on the gear and were ganging up him. Its OK if you do, (god knows I cant stop you) I just need to know so I can avoid the clinic for a couple of days.

How did you guess?:D

I don't see why you are so interested in BMC performing well so they get a TdF spot. Evans would be better off if he knows that he won't be at the Tour. He will be forced to devote everything to the Giro.

You make a good point, that's why i won't be devastated if he misses out. Just a bit annoyed as the tour in aus we get every stage live so I can watch the race but the giro I have to watch it on the net and we only get 30 minute highlights on TV with Mike Tomalaris which is a bad thing! Tour route seems a bit better for evans though the giro is a bit lower in the quality of competition.

Boy, Evans sure did rip that race apart.

Nice result for Löf/vkvist there. I hope he does well this season.

Evans? Who is this Evans you speak of? Was he entered in this race?:p

It's quite odd that you feel its appropriate to tease auscyclefan about his love for Evans when your every post is simply a series of chamois muffled love letters to your very own beloved. I guess you can relate oh so well.;)

But isnt that the way freindly rivalry works, i tease him about BMC, he teases me about Sky. Thats how it works, there is no malice in what I say, he knows that, and there is no malice in what he says, I know that. I dont think that is odd at all, far from it, i think its perfectly normal behaviour. We all tease wonderlance about everything, but of course he has the advantage of being a troll.

What can we tease you about? :D

Whoever said BMC not getting a Tour invite would be good for Evans +1

He may be a Grade A whiner, but I thought his Worlds win last year was the best win I watched in 09, and if he were to win a GT (ie if he focussed on the Giro) then there is hope for not so talented diesel engined pedal stompers everywhere.

Right, we had 55 minutes of coverage.
Started with highlights, then up went the helicopter and we had the last 25km "as live", so they could had gone live, if Rai Sport had had a free slot.:(
The Strada Bianche was drying out. Some dust, some mud.
Riders who looked good and ended up at the head of the race:
Maxim Iglinsky : Very strong, at one point bridged to an attacking Cancellara, then caught TL, MR and RH to make the final selection.
Thomas Löfkvist : Was pulling the peloton, early on. Lost, because he and MI had a bit of a tussle at the top of the final climb. MI won and got the line into the final corner.
No sprint between the lead 3, all about breaking on the last downhill bend.
3 Michael Rogers: Looked strong at 20kms out, but was the weakest of the podium, on the final climb, which cost him.
4 Filippo Pozzato: Smooth, bridged to the top 4, just before the final climb, but dropped off, when TL put the hurt on.
5 Ryder Hesjedal: By far the strongest, climbing the final steep strada, but dropped off first on the Sienna climb.

Others to show, when it counted.
Enrico Gasparotto: Got away and lasted a few km out the front.
Fabian Cancellara: Well, was FC.
J A Flecha: Continues to look classical. Was away, with Mr Rogers at 20kms.

Brief Appearances from: Vince Nibs, Stefano Garzelli....

Was the "race" exciting?

yeh, sorry, ours were delayed cos wanted to put the whole thing up for once, cos the roads are so lovely.

Not a problem. Thanks ever so much for your hard work. What a beautiful race! My first time watching and I'm really wondering why cyclingnews pretty much ignores it as far as any pre race report. I kept waiting for one and unless it was posted this morning, I must have missed it.

Great job by Iglinski! He was looking so shakey in that last downhill turn that I thought he was going to go into the barriers! Great race!

Well, where can I start? My man-love for Valverde and my almost blind support of every Spanish speaking rider. See I can relate with the both of them.:D
