I used to think the same untill last years Giro when he put 1'30 or so into Taylor Phinney in an ITT. That doesn't seem normal to me.

Bit of a late response, but didn't Phinney take a wrong turn in that ITT?

I think Evans is finished. He has maybe one last shot at a GT podium (not the Tour, perhaps the next Giro) left, and then after that he'll be a complete non-factor in GT's.

Wrong turn, Pinotti is a better climber so maybe he was fresher, he was towed by a moto.
