There are a number of frames out there now with iffy seat tube placement meaning that you can struggle to get correct fore/aft without needing to buy a different seat post (I am thinking of bikes like the Felt AR where you need to specify which seat post you need to get the right position.)
If a seat helps to counter than then thats great - but still not really worth martketing...
