Moustache Man Morgado

Talking about his height, i think it's between 1.82 and 1.84 m.

Jenthe Biermans according to PCS 1.84 m, and looking to the picture of the podium yesterday, Morgado is as tall as him.
Only if he grew considerably in the past 2 years, because in Wollongong he was clearly a lot less tall than Herzog, who is 1.83. So imho, there is no way he is taller than 1m80. Also, you need pictures where you can see their feet as well, so you can see which shoes they're wearing or what they are standing on. Some get on the podium with their cycling shoes, some are wearing flipflops, others are wearing sneakers.

As for that picture, Biermans is leaning sideways more than Morgado, for starters. Then, if you compare eyelines (and you can do this simply by scrolling this page to the point their eyes are at the edge of the page), Morgado's eyebrows are already showing when Biermans' eyes aren't even on the picture. That's another 3-4 cm right there. I think Biermans is easily 5cm taller.

I'm pretty sure Biermans wore stilettoes on the podium yesterday so I'd say Morgado is about 2 metres tall.

Here we have a better picture.

In this photo, which might be from 2022, he was still shorter than Almeida, although I can't rule out that Almeida is standing on a beer case.

What makes you say that? Curiously asking. On Morgado he certainly looks incredible. I didn't think of him as a cobbled classics rider (and clearly neither did he), but he's been very, very impressive.
Absolutely, super talent! Can't take that away from him, but having followed him since the juniors he still lacks any racecraft. He would definitely be 10% more impressive if he learned basic racecraft and tactics.

In an off-season interview he said that he sees himself as a GC man, and about his bad results in the big U23 stage races he said he knows what went wrong and how to fix it.
In a Sporza interview this winter, he said he dreams of the TDF but they still have to figure out what kind of rider he is exactly. His former coach, Axel Merckx, thinks he is a rider for one week stage races and hilly classics, because of his rather stocky build. He also needs to work on his TT says Merckx.

He was the only one who managed to follow Pogacar in a UAE team training session last month!
Not to poop the party, but this doesn't mean much by itself of course, without conditions, context etc. Uijtdebroeks supposedly dropped Vingegaard in training. Van Wilder was the only one on training who was able to beat Evenepoel etc.
