Finally decided to learn to sweep pick properly, so where better to start. Specifically the repeating motif at the start of the solo:

I used to have a massive afro, my hair doesn't go down, only out, but I use clippers and keep it close these days. No leather trousers or military jackets for me, even when going through my Hendrix phase! But do you have the hair and the wardrobe that goes along with this?![]()

Hendrix phase... did you also go through a B.B. King phase? (My bro went through a B.B. Still going through a B.B. King phase and don't think I'll ever stop. Humingbird is one of my all time favourite songs.Hendrix phase... did you also go through a B.B. King phase? (My bro went through a B.B. King period back when he still used to play the axe.)

Pretty Maids - Pandemonium
I saw Queensryche at the old Spokane coliseum in '86. I saw Geoff Tate (Queensriche singer) at the Big Easy in Boise early in this century, and because I'm friends with the chef who provided their food and beverage, I had a beer with Geoff. Pretty fun talking with him about the '80s! Extra side story, my chef friend was also involved in Geoff's wine project called Insania (until it moved to Europe).
