Buy the album Golden Rule by Powderfinger. The boys from brissie are back. They are australia's best band over at least the past 15-20 years.
For Aussies, the album has come out today but for internationals you can buy the album over the net or on Itunes

I was in Australia last week so picked it up. Not bad but no Double Allergic or even Vulture Street. The Live acoustic album is very good.

Also picked up an old Eskimo Joe Album and Sarah Blasko's JJJ album of the year, for my wife. Gotta love the Aussie music.

Yeah, Vulture Street was my favourite album though this one is really good. Have you seen their Video clips of "Burn Your name" or All of the dreamers"? Their really impressive. they were busking in Melb, Bris and Syd all in one day and announced the locations of where they were playing 30 mins before each concert and they got massive crowds. I'm surprised that they haven't done well overseas. Class act.

Powderfinger are my fav band.

The latest 50 Cent album.
I'm impressed, it's really good.

I needed this after weeks of listening to indie bands ;)

santa lucia.. a collection of swedish carols that the wife is singing in four different venues over the city tonight, dressed white garb and candles..

I'm really digging Pearl Jam's Backspacer album at the moment. Even more so since seeing them in concert a couple of weeks ago with Ben Harper.

Also... Them Crooked Vultures. It is simply rock brilliance.

This one would be a good soundtrack. ;)

I'm trying to use all creative commons music so you tube doesn't take down the audio track.
That would have some great tracks

Jamendo has some great music, I have found lots of good music on there.

I'm listening to this classic post rock-monster

I remember almost sh*tting my pants the first time I heard 'Like Herod' - the noise explosions hitting when you least expect it, oh the horror! It doesn't scare me quite as much now, but that's probably because I know exactly when to turn down the volume :D

I'm listening to Rage Against the Machine's classic album

I don't really care that they got the UK Christmas No.1 (although it is vaguely pleasing) - but I love the fact that it has caused me to listen again to one of my favourite albums from my university days.

good turbo music as well...

+ Several. Beatles-since they're getting bashed on another forum, the Mermen-into the Resplendent and still listening to Kings of Leon and Queens of the Stone Age. I'm sentimental.
And Jimi H, every day.
