Jaco's version of Mercy, Mercy, Mercy:

edit: never seen Howard before…
The Jaco clip is cool.
Howard played with Nick Cave early on before going solo.
He passed away in 2009. (I think) :(

Jaco is my favorite E bass player by some distance. Bruce comes second.

Is there another piece by Howard you can suggest?

He does a version of Life's What You Make It by Talk Talk.

Great sounds everyone! Meu turno.

Albums

Madrugada - Industrial Silence How did I never heard from this band? Vocals is one of the best kick offs I've witnessed on an album. Total eargasm, brilliant atmosphere, melodic. 12 points for Norway.

The Swell Season - Strict joy Very melodic as well.

Lykke Li - I Never Learn I think I first heard her performing 'Get Some' live at Conan's show and was totally immersed in her voice. Also thought she was very beautiful :p. The whole act was quite good. Better known for having one of her songs hijacked and remixed into a summer tune.
