What I noticed was Lou Reed played the intro by himself in the latter version. Is that what you were referring to?

Nah, much simpler. One is well made, the other pretty terrible.

Howard played with Nick Cave early on before going solo.
He passed away in 2009. (I think)

Jaco is my favorite E bass player by some distance. Bruce comes second.
