The Boxer Rebellion - Step Out Of The Car

Cracking rock song!

Thanks for sharing that great one.

See if you like these two Boxer Rebellion songs, which are more easy listening than rock.
The Boxer Rebellion – Semi-Automatic
The Boxer Rebellion – Spitting fire

Lots of other great tunes on the last thread page, including Kvinto's Tom Petty picks. Of Petty's works I think my favorites are:
Won't Back Down
Free falling

EZ3kiel ~ Derrière l'Écran

Descriptions call these guys "magnet-dub" but not only do I have no idea what that even is, I can also state categorically that I would not use those terms to describe this music at all. Maybe one day they were some kind of wonky dubstep farce, but this sounds like, well, actual music.

Wow! That was really good. I might get some culture yet, no?

iTunes calls this genre electronic. But you will find this tune 'dubbed' or placed on images of refrigerator magnets that are uploaded to YouTube... hence, magnet-dub. Honestly though, I do not know that for sure. That's just what it looks like to me. The only thing I would bank on is the genre listed in iTunes for this song.

The Sky is Crying (Live)

About 1:47 into it, he begins the surest, most masterful playing I think I've ever heard. Takes the crowd far beyond anyplace there were expecting to go. Highly recommended.

If you like Tom Petty then there's no way you can dislike this - the superest of all the supergroups: George Harrison + Bob Dylan + Roy Orbison + Jeff Lynne + Tom Petty = THE TRAVELING WILBURYS.

Traveling Wilburys - Handle With Care

Traveling Wilburys - End Of The Line

Traveling Wilburys - Maxine

SRV? Now you're talking!

Here's the SRV of our age (though he hates the comparison) Joe Bonamassa, cranking out a killer solo on his insanely expensive '59 Les Paul from his new collaboration cd with Beth Hart (released next week, I believe). Enjoy - more to come.

Thanks for links. I have their albums though - so the songs are not new to me :) But it's a great band!

Thanks for that. Lol. Two of these you linked to were recorded day before yesterday at the Echo here in LA, probably within walking distance of my house!

Sounds great. Not really familiar with Joe Bonamassa, so I appreciate the intro.

:D That was no intro, that was a mere hint....luckily, you've come to to the right place! Have a look at my original post. Here is a very brief intro featuring personal favorites, of which there are many more!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MGLB6R8EWsE - from 05 with the old band

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cyEdUajXBsI - his one and only appearance on a Dutch tv show from 06 - the song that first turned me on to his music

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iNGfD6i7ckQ - from North Sea Jazz 07

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8SMjL5u5D40 - from his truly legendary RAH concert in 09

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B07mTSIbcxE - the title track of this year's cd

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-AOsP8KBp8g - his artistic piece de resistance, also from the RAH

Thanks for those Bonamassa links Amsterhammer. A truly talented guitarist. And he's so fast like in that piece "artistic piece de resistance" on the Yamaha. I'll bet you recored a couple of those videos. :) Well, I don't have anything to offer in compensation, except a few Jeff Beck pieces which I have already posted.

That number is 'Woke up dreaming', he always plays it. I have personally filmed very little of Joe (that's worth sharing) because I'm always too busy closing my eyes and drifting along...;)

Here's the best of the bunch - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bVySY1SPHz0

(I do, however, have lots of films of other artists, some of which I'll post soon.)
