Heartbreak for De Vuyst, the fastest in the break who broke a spoke and lost her chain during the last 300 meters.

Erviti got a gap at the front on the descent and leads the rest of the break

Fraille and Castroviejo attacked the hill and have been joined by Ion Izaguirre and Rueben Fernandez on the descent. They are 3 mins back

I know it's terrible, but I found myself hoping a Movistar rider wouldn't take it solely because of the terrible jerseys... :eek:










For similar reasons I'm pretty glad the "Astana Danes" aren't riding their national championship; if Astana, which has a pretty strong Italian flavour, couldn't even make proper Italian jerseys - and for their two biggest stars - it would be naive to think they would be able/willing to make a prober Danish one, and I've seen previous examples that DCU doesn't care about the design...
