Leth, Didriksen and Norsgaard are sitting 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the group behind Uttrup, there is no panic as of yet. 40K to go.

Uttrup digging deep, the hammer has been dropped, but it's a tall order with a quality group behind - the gap is now 36 seconds.

The remainder of the route is flat-ish, only a few small hills here and there, but quite twisty.

The group behind is clearly wanting Norsgaard to do most of the pulling, she is pretty much taking every second turn in the group.

Norsgaard taking a giant turn, dropping the gap to 19 seconds, but the group is not working well.

At some point, Norsgaard has to refuse pulling everyone.

Meanwhile, in Spain, Bilbao has caught the front-duo.

They are close to Uttrup now - around 200 meters, but nobody seems interested in closing the gap fully..... and she edges out the gap again, now 11 seconds.

Not much going on in the German men's RR. The peloton has shrunk to about 75 riders. There have been some attacks that lead to nothing.

Didriksen rode into the barrier (in the last turn before the finish (they are on a circuit) - exactly the turn Cort warned about.

Didriksens riding error means she didn't make the split.
