I think that was what SE was saying in the first half.

For sure it is a beat down. So far. But, the Bills once came back from a 31-0 deficit to win a playoff game. And 3 people have also won $325 million each by splitting a power ball jackpot. So like a snowball's chance.
Carolina came to play.
It was actually 35-3.
Remember that CAR blew a 35-7 lead near the end of the 3d quarter vs. the Giants this season. NY scored four TDs to tie it before CAR won on a FG at the end. The Panthers may have issues about getting too confident when they have a big lead.
That long FG SE missed at the end of the first half looms large now.
Wrt to the OT game, I'm a little surprised GB didn't go for two after they tied the game in regulation. There is about a 50/50 chance of making it, about the same as winning the game in OT.
Here's a wild-a$$ suggestion. When a team scores a tying TD on the last play of the game, make a rule that they have to go for two. That will eliminate the need for OT, and as just noted, the chances of winning are about the same. Granted, this is a very rare situation. If there's even a few seconds left on the clock, the other team is going to want the ball,as they have at least a little chance of scoring.
If GB had won that game, it would have been the third game this postseason that a team lost after having about a 95% chance of winning the game.
P.S. - Take the FG, SE! You need another score, anyway. The Raiders did this in a championship game vs. the Steelers once. OK, I see they did. Just following this on the internet.
Raiders did this when trailing 16-7 late in the 4th quarter. They then recovered the onside kick and made it really interesting, but came up short.
