If he wants to change that perception he better quickly ignite the offense as they are dead last in the leaguein average total offense (225) & average points per game (14.0). Lol

From what I have heard, it's not the first time his unusual behavior has been noted. Someone mentioned the term locker room poison and his form really dropped off after he left the Cardinals. Hard to see the Raiders getting a trade done with that reputation but they would rather have him on the field and playing well, at the moment.

Detroit put it to the Packers, in Green Bay. I just can't see the Lions winning many playoff games, it just seems like a mirage, impossible. Yet...
Raiders w Dave Casper, Branch, Stabler,Blientnikoff, Blanda,Madden..for sure, but start moving the team from city to city..no thanks. My brother is still a fan. Growing up in the desert we saw Raiders all the time on TV and trust me in the valley a Cardinal is really not a thing.
Love it! I agree with you there on the Cardinals. I've never fully understood why teams don't do what the Ravens did, and just change brand. Then again, one could argue if the Colts moved to Indy they should have rebranded as the Racers, or Soybeans or something, so the Browns could be the Colts.

Raiders in Vegas is a big financial windfall for Mark Davis, and the org as a whole. But it's also a tourist city, so it's super easy for visiting fans to fly, and stay there reasonably cheap. The Raiders also have some of the most expensive tickets in the league, pricing out all the blue collar fans they were built on. Thus, anywhere between a third, and over half of the stadium is frequently filled with rival teams' fans.

As to Chandler Jones, last year he was known in the locker room as one who at times motivated other team members, and at other times the opposite. I think it was known he was a talented player (though in the twilight of his career) but a Dr. Jeckel/Mr. Hyde to begin with, and McDaniels and likely DC Patrick Graham and Rob Ryan thought they could keep him motivated, but after coming into camp fit and seemingly in good spirits, he's now approaching Antonio Brown level issues and should possibly just retire and find a way to take care of himself. Going after reporters is one thing, but going after a former player in RGIII, who is both intelligent, and has a long history as a commentator of supporting fellow players, makes zero sense.

And seeing the new name for Cleveland baseball, Washington football, maybe Arizona should rethink Cardinals.. The Arizona Rattlers, Suns football, or Arizona Traffic or Heatstroke..Roadrunners were a IHL hockey team in Phoenix so the name is probably available..
Arizona Heatstroke. LOL! Ran into a couple the other day from Phoenix. They'd been there nearly 30 years they said, this year may have done them in. Insufferable, blistering heat, day after day after day. And I thought it was like that half the year some 20 years ago!

The Soybeans, oh lord what a name.

Lions beat the crap out of the Packers again and locking a firm hold in the division for now. I think they’re a threat but third favorite in the conference.
Why they had Love passing on 3rd down inside his own 20 in the first half was insane. He almost threw 3 more picks and that's coaching 'cause his receivers weren't open and line wasn't holding. Lucky they didn't give up 14 more points in that first half.

Easy win for the Lions. Run game worked well so time in possession was dominated. Love was under pressure as well for most of the game. Green Bay having lost a couple of key offensive players are looking at a rebuild. And Bakhtiari is injured as usual. Their regular near the top pf the NFC days seem over for the moment while the Lions are trending upwards as many expected after last season.

A quick Detroit hitter on offense that deserves much play was the Rookie, Laporte. Best new tight end I've seen for a youngster. Good balance, hands and instinct for movement when the play escalated to option status. He'll be dangerous and libertated the run game to an extent.

Chandler Jones has been arrested in Las Vegas for violating a domestic dispute order. I only watched sections of that long stream he did, and the only thing I can say at this point is he needs serious help. It's just heartbreaking to witness. Someone needs to be around this man 24/7.

It also makes more sense now when the Raiders didn't draft DT Jalen Carter and took DE Tyree Wilson instead. The media talked about Carter not being motivated at his pro day, but the Raiders said that didn't phase them and were still interested in him. The team obviously had bigger concerns than that.

What a downfall.

Here are the games I find most interesting:

MIA@BUF - Obviously. Game of the week. I like the Bills chances at home.
MIN@CAR - No one thought the Vikings would go 13-4 again, but no one thought they would start 0-3. This is the "other" 0-3 vs. 0-3 game.
DEN@CHI - This will be the real acid test for Denver. If they lose this game...
BAL@CLE - I'll take the Ravens here. Though Cleveland's D has been very stiff.
TB@NO - Battle for an early division lead. Carr will play, and I'll take the Saints.
ARI@SF - I'm curious what kind of game the Cardinals play, and if SF lets down it's guard.
KC@NYJ - How is this the flex game and not MIA@BUF? I'm guessing this was hardwired before the season started, expecting Mahomes vs. Rodgers.

They could have still flexed out of it though when they found out Rodgers was out, Jets are in disarray, Dolphins look great, and their games against the Bills have been close. Now we will most likely get another Chiefs stomp. Heck I think there’s a prime time Broncos vs Chiefs game as well and Chiefs could hang another 70 on em.

I don't think Andy Reid is that cruel. Unless there are some Denver coaches he really doesn't like.

Someone had to win the Broncos-Bears game & the Broncos came out on top (barely). The Bears are pathetic & Fields is looking like a bust. Eberflus needs to be fired immediately. Late in the 4th, he decides to go for it on 4th down getting stuffed at the line of scrimmage instead of taking the chip shot FG & putting the Bears into the lead late in the game. Last year in his first season, they were a laughable 3-17 & this year they're winless - time for him to go.

And what's up with Fields? He has a buck 45 & 1 TO to move at least into FG range & tie the game. But instead he throws a pick & hands the victory to the Broncos. Fields is a 1st rd pick & 3 yr starter. With that amount time left & a TO, it's incumbent - and it should be automatic - on him to get into at least FG range. The Bears are looking like a turd organization. Lol.

Another bust in the making is Mac Jones. The Patriots get horse whipped by the Cowboys & can't even get into the endzone. Lol. Jones throws for 150 & 2 picks with a QB rating of 39 before he was benched in the 3rd. Sad state of affairs with his performance in that game.

The glory days of New England are forever gone. Once TB left, they've been on a downward spiral. Belichick is probably the most overrated coach in the NFL history. Lol. It was all TB that made that team into a dynasty.

Buffalo taught Miami a lesson!

Watching the extended highlights, and looking at stats, I'm honestly starting to wonder if Bryce Young has what it takes to make it in the NFL. This was his best game, yet about all he could complete were several checkdown throws, and a couple passes to Theilen.

The Texans and CJ continue to look good. There's young depth, and real promise there. Putting up 30 points on the Steelers.

The Bengals now have the worst offense in the entire NFL. Just 211 yards all day today.

Baltimore not only gave a rude awakening to DTR, their offense steamrolled the vaunted Brown D.

I can't tell if it was Derek Carr who should have sat, or TB defense being that good, but another good, solid game from Mayfield to take the Bucs to 3-1 and first place.

But who are they going to get to replace him? And is that person going to really do that much better? Lots of Raider fans are "Karens" and want McDaniels fired (and GM Ziegler, and Mark Davis to sell, etc.). But the Raiders don't have much of a team either. And who would they hire to replace him? Gruden? LOL!

Basically agree on Fields at this point. He showed some promise last October, and has been between at best average, and often poor ever since. I think he honestly isn't that good of a passer, and may never be.
Another bust in the making is Mac Jones.
Remember last year? Him yelling at Matt Patrician, because Matt wouldn't let him throw the ball down the field enough. They bring Bill O'Brien in, supposed to fix things. But Jones is maybe worse than last year. Dallas is not a defensive powerhouse, but Jones looked like a lost rookie.

Almost all, but yes. We had a real good idea that was the case when he went to Tampa. You and I have both said that it's the players that make coaches look good, more than the other way around. And this was now obviously the case. Robert Kraft has hinted that he wants Jared Mayo to be the future coach of the team. But Belicheck is at 298 wins. Does Kraft push Bill into retirement after 300 wins? The end of this season? It seems like Belicheck breaking Schula's record of 328 wins is unlikely at this point. If Kraft fired Belicheck, would another team hire him? Would Bill even want to go there?

Ugly call against the Jets at the end of tonight's game, but credit KC for converting several 3rd downs when they needed to, to seal the game.

Yeah Bills took a number to Dolphins and put them back in second for the division.

Bucs look good and I believe beat the Saints by more than they ever did with Brady.

The Chiefs vs Jets game was a lot closer than we all thought. Another close game comes down to Mahomes throwing an interception and it getting overturned when they were allowing that play all game. Jets came completely undone after that penalty and Chiefs walked all over them to close it out.

Man was I completely wrong about the Jets..they actually showed up and a few sophomoric mistakes cost them.. overall good showing.. KC third down conversion rate.. Out of this world and Jets defense against a pretty basic slant pass pattern almost non existing..
Idaho needs to bring back the Ore-Ida cycling challenge!!! Idahoins probably are not looking for anything else to attract people to move there!!! NFL could expand to the Boise Spuds!! Now that is a team I would support!!

Patriots need a rebuild. Bills back on track the past two games. Buccs doing better than I expected. Bears will roll the dice and draft another QB but that's only part of their problems.
My ears perked up years back when I watched some inside NFL tv and read some stuff were everyone asked would say that Fields was the making of a superstar.. So I watched.. sort of like RG3 it's all just a wet blanket.. My hype is gone
