Henne's last game was a SB win, after playing well in the game Mahomes was hurt. A perfect time to leave the sport.
I honestly think sitting, now, can only help Bryce Young. He's had a lot of kind words thrown at him from analysts and experts, but the numbers show he's been sub average, and half the time he looks a bit lost, and still just tiny. He has a passer rating of only 66. And a QBR of just 36. His longest completion is just 22 yards, and he's 2-2 in TD/Int ratio. Neither Richardson or Stroud have lit up the league, but both have better numbers in almost every category (though Stroud's immobility has seen him sacked 11 times already). Granted, a couple games is a very short timespan to evaluate a rookie, and by raw numbers Trevor Lawerence, Deshaun Watson, and Kenny Pickett aren't playing well either. But my point is sitting a few games at this point may likely help Young.
Most interesting games to me this weekend:
ATL@DET - Both teams have come out of the gate running. It was expected Detroit would be good, with Atl more of a question mark.
NO@GB - So far Love has been impressive. But the Saints defense will be a bigger challenge.
LAC@MIN - Both teams are 0-2. Both were supposed to be at least good. Very few 0-3 teams make the playoffs.
BUF@WAS - Let's see how good the Commanders really are. Could they go 3-0?
PIT@LVR - Both teams are 1-1 and looked both bad, and decent at times.
PHI@TB - Are the Buccaneers really good enough go to 3-0? I doubt it, but this will be a real test for them.
LAR@CIN - The Rams have looked surprisingly good, especially their offense and Stafford. The Bengals looked shockingly bad in week 1, and still nothing what was expected in week 2. Their offense is ranked 32nd, their defense 26th, their passing 30th, and their run offense 28th.
