It's only September, but right now the 49ers look like unstoppable.

WTH?...during practice after the season has already started???

The NFL is only entering week #3 & the number & severity of injuries is insane. What's the 2nd half of the season going to look like if this trend continues?
Wait until the league goes to 18 games. And/or expands the playoffs.

Henne's last game was a SB win, after playing well in the game Mahomes was hurt. A perfect time to leave the sport.

I honestly think sitting, now, can only help Bryce Young. He's had a lot of kind words thrown at him from analysts and experts, but the numbers show he's been sub average, and half the time he looks a bit lost, and still just tiny. He has a passer rating of only 66. And a QBR of just 36. His longest completion is just 22 yards, and he's 2-2 in TD/Int ratio. Neither Richardson or Stroud have lit up the league, but both have better numbers in almost every category (though Stroud's immobility has seen him sacked 11 times already). Granted, a couple games is a very short timespan to evaluate a rookie, and by raw numbers Trevor Lawerence, Deshaun Watson, and Kenny Pickett aren't playing well either. But my point is sitting a few games at this point may likely help Young.

Most interesting games to me this weekend:

ATL@DET - Both teams have come out of the gate running. It was expected Detroit would be good, with Atl more of a question mark.
NO@GB - So far Love has been impressive. But the Saints defense will be a bigger challenge.
LAC@MIN - Both teams are 0-2. Both were supposed to be at least good. Very few 0-3 teams make the playoffs.
BUF@WAS - Let's see how good the Commanders really are. Could they go 3-0?
PIT@LVR - Both teams are 1-1 and looked both bad, and decent at times.
PHI@TB - Are the Buccaneers really good enough go to 3-0? I doubt it, but this will be a real test for them.
LAR@CIN - The Rams have looked surprisingly good, especially their offense and Stafford. The Bengals looked shockingly bad in week 1, and still nothing what was expected in week 2. Their offense is ranked 32nd, their defense 26th, their passing 30th, and their run offense 28th.

Atlanta game should be a good one. The Falcons run game has been impressive and with Bijan Robinson, they might have the best RB from the draft. The Detroit run defense hasn't been good.

Saints game should be a tight one although the Saints look a little skinny on offense.

Pressure is on both the Vikings and the Chargers. Both teams are desperate for a win. Ekeler out doesn't help the Chargers.

Buffalo game could be the game of the week. As long as Washington get reasonable QB play, they should be competitive.

Hard to pick the winner of the Steelers and Raiders. If I were Jimmy G I would be concerned...........he also needs Myers back at WR.

Eagles might put a stop to the Buccs going 3-0 but Mayfield has had a good start.

After watching the Rams first two games. I would be surprised if the Bengals beat them unless the NFC West form has been false which I don't think it has. Seattle and the 49ers should be playoff contenders and the Rams made the 49ers work for the win. and beat Seattle comfortably. The Bengals like the Giants are not the same teams as last season, so far.

Wasn’t able to watch the Dolphins and Broncos game due to being in Disneyland but was updating on the score. Dolphins kicked the living daylights out of the Broncos on all levels.
Yeah...it was a total embarrassment as the Broncos set a franchise record for most points allowed! Lol. They looked ill-prepared to even play the game. The Broncos have now started the season 0-3 a total of 7 times - not making the playoffs nor having a winning season in any those years.

Here's the irony of this: Payton get his butt kicked in one of most embarrassing losses in Bronco history & he had the audacity to criticize Hackett as one of the worst HC the Broncos ever had. Lol

What a difference a week makes in this league & how quickly a team - and a QB - can go from the penthouse to the outhouse.

Last week, Sam Howell plays like a pro bowler beating the Broncos throwing no picks. This week he stinks up the joint throwing 4 picks including a pick-6 as the Commanders fail to get into endzone in a 37-3 route by the Bills.

Can’t blame the Miami fans for booing at the end of the game. They had a very good shot at breaking the NFL record for most points in a game, only for McDaniel to choose to take a knee and end it at 70. When you’re down 50, 3 points isn’t going to do anything to soften the blow. An opportunity to break that rare a feat comes once in a lifetime. I would have gone for the FG. It’s not disrespect towards Denver, it’s simply competing for something. The Broncos disrespected themselves.

I don't understand it either. Does DEN really care if it is 70 or 73? If they were really worried about hurting DEN's feelings, they could have scored even less. Its an NFL record, go for it.

Exactly. I think when this sinks in a bit, the Dolphins will realize they made a mistake. They could have brought in all their reserves in the 2nd half and still won. Teams scoring 70+ has happened only 4 times (5 after today). You play almost a perfect game on offense only to shut it down the last few minutes. I’ve never liked that sort of decision. These are professionals, not HS JV’s.

Bears fans and Denver fans...........Cowboys fans constant SB chatter hits a pothole..............shocked by the Colts and Cards results while I expected a lot more from the Commanders . Stephen A Smith will be celebrating the Cowboys loss.........Skip Bayliss not so much............Fields form of late is more evidence that the QB draft that included Wilson, Lance and Fields in the top picks was badly overrated by the draft experts and scouts.

C'mon man...a fight would have broken out after the game. Payton would have had some harsh words for McDaniel. McDaniel then gets a bad reputation for running up the score. And payback is a *** - so when Miami is in a situation where they're having a bad game & getting hammered, the other team no matter who they are will run up the score on them.

That was class by McDaniel there at the end. You could see Payton when he congratulated McDaniels complementing him for not running up the score & showing some class. These young first time head coaches need to establish a good reputation & not one that will they will be known to run up scores on teams having a bad game. Crap like that could cost them a job opportunity down the road if they get fired.

Miami can speak loudest by going to the SB instead of setting some ancient scoring record that no one really cares about. Lol.
