Here's a good tracker sheet to the trades and singings happening in the NFL.
The biggest shocker is the Texans getting rid of DeAndre Hopkins, arguably the best WR in the league, and shipping him to Arizona (where he will likely shine with a younger version of Watson in Murray will throw to him), for pennies on the dollar in David Johnson (end of career) and Arizona's 2020 second-round pick and 2021 fourth-rounder.
I like what Buffalo did in going out and getting Shannon Diggs. Now, they did give up their 1st round pick (and 3 for 1 on lower picks) for him, but this gives Josh Allen Colt Beasly, Josh Brown and now Diggs to throw to. If Allen can play at the level he did in the 2nd half of last season, and improve in clutch time, the Bills offense may finally be very good again. Their defense is already good, and they just added Mario Addison, Quinton Jefferson, Vernon Butler, and Josh Norman in FA as well. Four solid vets who can definitely make a difference on that team. With Brady finally gone from NE, the Bills have to be favorites for that division, and could make a serious playoff run.
Cleveland adding Jack Conklin was interesting in that he's one of the best run blocking right side tackles in the league. If the Browns take a left tackle in the draft at #10, it wouldn't shock me at all if they take the ball somewhat out of Mayfield's hands and run Chubb a lot more. Wait, that's right, they have Kareem Hunt as well, who they only used sparingly once he came off suspension. Freddie Kitchens too often expected Mayfield to save drives and games, and I'm guessing since he couldn't do it (with any consistency), Kevin Stefanski won't push him to. The team also paid Case Keenum $10m to be a backup, which makes me also think Stefanski doesn't have full faith in Mayfield.
