I was so happy to see the cowboys lose today.
Their QB played pretty good too. Threw 4 TDs. Forget the guys name though. Not Darnold. I mean the other guy.49ers offense get them home and win their division. Purdy, CMC and Deebo do it again.
He threw 3 picks (one not his fault at all) but remained poised, and came up big when it mattered. The announcers at one point were talking about his influence and someone in the Cleveland org apparently said, "he's the adult in the room". This to me was very revealing. The team is stacked, but does have a lot of young players. Their two main QBs for the last few years were Deshaun Watson, and before him Baker Mayfield. I can easily imagine how a coach (and other players) did not think of either of them as an adult. Though Baker seems to have grown up this year.Flacco produces when he has to.
Agree with everyone in that the Chiefs look like they did over a month ago. Efficient, effective, solid play. Granted, the Pats are terrible, but they came out swinging. They need help from a few teams to get HFA, but I too can easily see them getting to the AFC championship. I just think they could have a hard time going to Baltimore or Miami and winning, but we'll see. We're assuming of course these teams stay mostly healthy.Chiefs get a solid victory over the hapless Patriots.
Should be plenty of napping during that game..............Chargers fans included...........I am making a reservation at the same sensory deprivation hut that Aaron Rodgers went to for the Chargers Bills game
For me another great weekend of football and the Dallas game was great. Buffalo defense was like a swarm of angry bees.Cowboys thoroughly outplayed on both sides of the ball. They gave up 266 yards against the run and made Cook look like a HOF running back. Allen only had 15 pass attempts for the game. Cowboys offense did nothing. Outplayed and outcoached and Cook dropped a sitter for another TD. Skip Bayless binned his Dak jersey again. It usually happens at least twice per season.
His reaction was before body motion stopped on the play..network coverage was tasteful and the camera was off him quickly, despite that.. Everyone, myself included was thinking, that guy is in some real pain. SadCostly win for the Ravens:

Ravens’ Keaton Mitchell Suffers Horrific Knee Injury While Having Outright Brilliant Game In Such A Tough, Tough Break
Ravens rookie running back Keaton Mitchell was an outright rising star during his brilliant showing against the Jacksonville Jaguars ... until a nasty injury.dailycaller.com
Amusing reading from their fans complaining about the referees being out to get them.Cowboys offense did nothing. Outplayed and outcoached and Cook dropped a sitter for another TD. And some of the penalties were ridiculous Late hits, running into kickers, no wonder they are the most penalized team in the league and have been near the top of the penalty count for a few seasons now.
They were already missing JK Dobbins. However, Gus Edwards has been their primary RB most of the season.Costly win for the Ravens:
Uh, not really. Watch the link Nomad posted. His helmet hit him straight in the face mask, jarring his head back, hard. This hit was borderline Votez Burfect level the way he ran into hammer Pittman.Kazee (PIT) suspended for the rest of the season. Had this been his first infraction, it probably wouldn't be a suspension. Definitely a hit on a defenseless player, but he did avoid helmet to helmet contact.
In the replays that I watched, his helmet barely grazed the face mask, but his shoulder hammered the helmet directly.Amusing reading from their fans complaining about the referees being out to get them.

Tom Brady said the injury was partly Minshew's fault for causing Pittman to lay out like that and dive to catch the ball, making him vulnerable, and I think he's right, to a degree. It goes back to Steve Grogan throwing high to Daryl Stingley, after which Jack Tatum almost killed him. How much was Grogan to blame? Well, some. There was a throw back a zillion years ago by Terry Bradshaw where Lynn Swan was hammered (but was okay) and Bradshaw mentioned it many times being his fault. Some coaches (and QBs) say every errant throw in any way is the QBs fault. Gruden used to say that in his QB camp, it's always the QB's fault, and he had a point.
I agree 100% that it was more than enough to get tossed from the game.Maybe not helmet to helmet, but as I said, similar to Burfect hammering Brown with his shoulder. Almost that bad. Certainly valid enough to eject him for the season.
Incredible win for the Seahawks. Great win for Lock with some very impressive throws, and they didn't play it conservative with him. Best game of his entire career. Finally, finally showing he may actually have it to play in this league! Still just 27 years old.
That was not real was it? That didn't really happen.. Right?I think the Seahawks have a good chance tonight.
