Good stuff from the Bills so far. They could have easily folded a number of times, but they keep coming. I think the missed 2pt conversions could be costly in the end, and this latest TD they chose to kick it.

The four or five missed calls I mentioned were big.

The point is simple: there are several missed/bad calls in every game, but it has become fashionable in KC games to say that those missed/bad calls are the refs/NFL cheating for KC.

Pretty disappointing, to me personally. When the playoffs started the two teams I absolutely did not want to see in the Super Bowl were KC and Philly, and that's who we are getting. And I know I'm not the only person who feels this way. This may or may not surprise some of you, but I don't plan on watching. At most I will visit family members who will have it on in the background. But there's also a good chance I'll just go snowshoeing, as that tends to be a fairly quiet day to do so. I honestly don't care who wins the game. I really don't. Sick of both teams, especially the Chiefs. Though I expect them to win, the same way they always do, boring death by 1000 paper cuts.

You’re not the only one. The majority didn’t want to see either team in the SB, and obviously not both of them. I suppose I’ll ‘cheer’ for the lesser of two evils…

Refs missed two calls on the Bills; the face mask and the offsides they called a false start on the Chiefs and maybe a roughing the passer.
Refs missed on the chiefs; the 50:50 they ruled a reception, the 4th and one, DPI on Bills final offensive drive of the first half, right tackle’s hands to the face on Mahomes sack (with the helmet being pushed off and that usually is what warrants the flag), holding by the right tackle on Mahomes scrambles to his right (not that the defender would have caught Mahomes), and maybe roughing the passer and taunting on Kelce when he ran up in the face of multiple Bills before he got headbutted. That isn’t even counting everything their right tackle could be called for on every play.

All of those still didn’t stop the Chiefs from being better overall than the Bills in all but arguably offense due to a chiefs defense > Bills defense. Bills were out coached on both sides of the ball and were prepared for the Bills bread and butter plays. Even if the score was tired from Bills scoring 3 on extra points, Chiefs had enough time to get within field goal range.

It’ll be interesting to see how the Chiefs handle the rushing of Barkley. This is it for the Eagles, rested everyone for the Super Bowl.

Hard fought battle between two of the best QBs in the game. I figured it would come down to the final minutes as usual. Buffalo turns the ball over on downs & KC gets the key 1st down that seals the game. So, it's not like the refs decided the game on a controversial call or anything like that - the Bills simply didn't execute on 4th down & were unable to stop the Chiefs & get the ball back.

What can you say about Mahomes - solid day passing but how about the 43 yards rushing & 2 scores showing some serious dual-threat capability. The Gunslinger looks very hungry for that 3rd SB title.

And Worthy was impressive as the leading receiver for the Chiefs with 6 grabs & a score. The Bills completely shut down Kelce (4 targets - 2 catches) but Worthy steps it up (he's been the team's leading receiver in the playoffs).

I was wrong on Worthy. I thought at a buck 65 soaking wet, he'd get killed in the NFL. But he's not been hurt despite taking some pretty hard hits during the season. And he's a threat to bust one everytime he touches the ball. Reid is looking like a genius taking him with their 1st rd pick. Having the fastest man in the league on your team who can catch - and with a QB like Mahomes - a lot of good things can happen.

The decision to not watch a game is yours.

I don't understand not wanting to watch the Superbowl. I watch several games a year that I'm not jacked about (like most TNF games), but I watch because I enjoy watching football. The Superbowl though? PHI vs. KC, two of the best teams in the NFL? I'm not going to miss that.

Everyone's choice though.

And the NFL is working against their own rules and officials by reviewing, overturning calls.
Off sides , neutral zone infractions, first down , entering the end zone , almost all can be easily verified with available technology.
And holding, pass interference can be called on majority of all plays, it's subjective at best.
It's a real shame that instead of solving the problem, instead they have an unseen rules expert off camera but with hot mic to explain to fans what they saw, the rules are so fuzzy that each broadcast has a rules specialist..
Ridiculous and both games yesterday, they made comments, there's an obvious penalty or missed call. All of it leaves fans disappointed..
And for people outside the US it's a juggernaut!! A cultural phenomenon that there are questions about everything, deep fakes, moon landing, games fixed, refs on the take, earth is flat, rules don't apply!! The list is endless!!
The NFL better fix it before they damage their brand, the product and turn people off. Can't have millions of viewers thinking that blown calls changed the outcome of the game..
And as if conspiracy theories could not get much deeper.. TV and internet ads about online gambling, it's already out there that game results are being influenced by the hundreds of millions wagered on the games..

Agree...but, I do like the "assist" that they are using now. Slow, old men will never be able to be in position to make all of the calls, let alone all of the calls correctly so add in some tech.

I jumped on Jono because their first post of the weekend was about the refs and KC. If something gets repeated enough, it quickly becomes fact...even if its not.

As a SEA fan, I get really frustrated by missed calls because SEA has been just above average the last few years, a few calls could mean the difference between 8 wins and 12 wins plus playoffs. There is no part of me that thinks the NFL/refs want SEA to lose though. Its just not how I'm wired.

I will admit that I find KC's run exciting, and really appreciate that they can keep it going year after year no matter who comes and goes. I like how PM plays the game. I like how AR coaches. Do I wish that Shakir would have made a spectacular, game winning catch/run? OH YAH! Do I wish that Buttker would have tripped instead of making a field goal? YES! Do I hope that Moore and the Eagles score 55 in two weeks? OH YAH! Will I be thrilled if KC 3PEATS? YES!

EDIT: If the Eagles score 55, I want KC to score 49...I want a good game.

Mahomes is one of the all-time greats and there is no doubt he can get it done.

If you're an Eagles fan looking for hopeful signs, it's that both the Texans and Bills were fairly successful running the ball against the Chiefs. And that Mahomes may have a harder time against the NFL's #1-rated passing defense. The question marks for the Eagles are at the QB position, and on the sideline wearing a headset.

As long as the refs keep consistent with their viewing there’s nothing the Eagles can do about the Mahomes rushing the ball or scrambling around till he throws it. Chiefs passing attack was great and they had a lot of room from the concepts to gain more yards. Biggest thing Eagles can do is try and stay away from a crucial penalty.

They’re definitely a dynasty till 2030 at least.

3 out of 4 of those are pretty good - I don't know about Kelce & MVP. Unless he plays a poor game, I would think MVP is automatic to Mahomes?

They could have as long of a success as the Patriots did at prolifically winning and challenging in the postseason. If Mahomes keeps up like this as he gets older or improves his game in different ways the sky is the limit.
