It's 30 °C over here (in the shade), so I imagine it's much the same where Tifosi is. By Belgo-Dutch standards, that's pretty damn hot.

Ha, still can't match the aussie nats! The aussie boys were bloody tough that day!

That's just insane, like some of the inland Vuelta stages. Too bad nobody would show up if you had your Nationals today. Now I never know how to rate that race =/

Yeah, and the humidity is always very high here. I was sweating bullets and I wasn't even cycling :D

Bad day for Rabobank. First their new headquarters in Utrecht burns down, and now they lose a race that they should win pretty much by default

I'd say they're on fire just before the Tour start...

go kristoff!

The course is very though so I don't think Kristoff will be one of the main favourites. My guess is that it will be one of EBH, Willmann, Arvesen or Nordhaug that wins it.

Oh dear, Rabobank is furious with Weening. They told him not to ride with Terpstra and he did so anyway. And they blame him for starting to sprint at 400m while Boom was coming.

This will be fun.

Rabo DS Verhoeven says Weening didn't respect team tactics or the basics of cycling, and made two mistakes in the final kms: he shouldn't have done any work when he was away with Terpstra, and he shouldn't have led Terpstra out for the sprint (which he did, amazingly enough, with Boom approaching).

Like I said: bye Weening.

Spain RR results:
1. Jose Ivan Gutierrez (Caisse d'Epargne)
2. Fran Ventoso +24" (NGC Carmiooro)
3. Koldo Fernandez de Larrea +24" (Euskaltel)

Impressed to hear that Ventoso has raced with no teammates.

Thank you.

Commentators kept mentioning him so I thought maybe he decided to ride today.

Anyone watching Belgian championships. Gilbert is crazy. :)
