I actually like it when the bikes are contrasting colours to the kit. The Katusha combo works really well this year. Unfortunately Celeste green goes with black and that's about it.

It's a trait I quite admire. Like Ferrari and red, the colour is part of the brand. You want to race on a Bianchi, it's going to be celeste.

Okay--that is one ugly team kit. First of all: is that a hawk coming out of your pants, or are you just glad to see me? Then the shorts just look like standard shorts with some logos and don't coordinate with the jersey. A few shades of blue, a few brand names thrown around randomly and presto: a Saxo team kit. The local teams in Seattle have way better designed outfits.

Full agreement, while I don't know Seattle outfits.

They could at least have placed that hawk in the middle.

It's a good kit but the bird is a bit jarring in the overall look. Is there a hawk head on the bu tt? might look better there...

Ye imo the hawk is the only weak thing on that jersey. They should have left that out. But luckily u wont really see the hawk when u see them on the bike. And I think the back of the jersey will look really nice from heli-perspective.

Ryo, are there any 2012 South American team jerseys that are good-looking, and (relatively) easy to order and ship to the Netherlands?

The only one I've seen is black with the Colombian flag (Coldeportes). I like Colombia, but riding with their flag is another thing (although I'm riding with Basque and Kazakh flags, not entirely uncontroversial either. At least they are small). Besides, I don't like black/dark jerseys.

Was across at my Mum's on Hogmanay and she had been doing a rather more than usual Scottish New Year clear out. ANyhoo, she goes I have found this old cycling kit you used to ride in can I throw it out. Lots of goodies in there but best of all is a Cafe De Colombia top in fab condition. Circa 1984 I would guess (yep showing my age on this one) And I still love the fact it has my forename on the shoulder

That bike may grow on me, but I think I like Coldeportes' version better. I think it's the black I'm not a fan of.

Not current, but Pinturas Bler had a jersey which is among my absolute all time favourites. I'd love to be able to get hold of one.

Conti does look good in it with his dark coloring...way better than last year's I think..just for a change some intense colour.
