I actually like the kit but at the same time I can see an argument for the wording looking like the label of a low-budget store-brand product which tries to make a virtue of the simplicity of the label.

It's Clément Champ.

And you don't find that a strange choice?

It's almost as if they don't read this forum where we ended up concluding that Cosnefroy not only would become the next Alaphilippe but also was handsome.

Lol, somebody got paid for that? It's like the graphic designer got a template for a plain jersey on MS Paint and just put some text boxes in as placeholders, couldn't think of anything else to do so just made it bigger and handed in their invoice. It's like what I imagine would happen if Savio lost all but two of his sponsors mid-season and tried to hide it.

Of course it's a strange choice to let Champoussin model the new collection when you got the pretty next Hirschiphilippe on your team, but of course they did not want to let him stand out and undermine the team spirit and he wasn't very eager to do it since he's got bigger aims (Saint-Laurent, I think).

Lol I love it. Actually kind of a vague similarity to their late 00s kit which was also mostly white.

Not a fan of the new AG2R La Citroen Mondiale kit. Some people say it stands out but I think it stands out because we're not accustomed to such bland designs. I'm doubtful about white jerseys with red and brown logos being particularly eye-catching in the peloton during the races. It gives me a 1980-ish something vibe but not for the reasons you would want.
It's better than the corporate designs we've been seeing for so long now. I'm sick of struggling to pick Mitchelton from Jumbo Visma, Lotto from Cofidis, Astana from Movistar etc at first glance from the crowded helicopter shots

If you couldn't pick Astana from Movistar, I wonder how you're going to pick AG2R from UAE for example, if UAE will keep a similar color scheme to what they've had so far.

And in the context of the previous jersey, AG2R with Bora-hansgrohe.

no sure that it is a good thing that the first thought that came to my mind about the design was a Hard-Fi album cover:

that said, I do quite like it at first view but not sure if that feeling will continue once I actually see it in the peleton.
