Why work when Philipsen is in your group?
Im probably not right, but take for example the UAE rider in that leading group who was the one most obviously sitting up or sitting on. How did refusing to work in a strong front group increase their team’s chances when they didn’t even have someone able to get into the top ten in the finishing sprint?

Apparently I can't quote a post that consists solely of other quotes, but my comment was intended to be tongue in cheek. This was mostly on the riders (although in retrospect it wouldn't have hurt to fence off the gutter).

Molano could definitely Top 10 in the finishing sprint.

In hindsight a bit strange for philepsen to do this race 3 days before Sanremo, but I'm not gonna complain about riders wanting to race historic one-day races.

Very impressive sprint of echkoff the former u23 world champion ;)

Like I said aim probably not right. If Molano was the UAE guy sprinting at the end he couldn’t even get in the top 15 (only top 10 available right now).

ed Molano was 22nd (though he probably took foot off gas once out it), top UAE rider 16th
