Do you mean brought forward to Friday? It wasn't meant to be today was it?Womens mass start is postponed to friday because of strong winds and -18 degrees. We will then see an epic 50k battle on saturday.

If I recall correctly Graabak was the fifth member of the Norwegian team back in Sochi and only got to race the large hill because one of his teammates underperformed in the normal hill.Graabak has had an interesting and kind of weird career. He is now the most successful nordic combined skier in Norwegian olympic history. He has more medals than any of the legends of the past. Still you can say that during his entire career he has never even been considered the best NC skier in Norway. In the beginning he was second behind Magnus Moan, until Riiber came along and became our unquestionable no 1.
You have to imagine Tiril feels the pressure more than Roiseland, who has already had a great games so the pressure is somewhat off. But I am rooting for Tiril. The two best skiers are the only ones not to miss on the first shootings. Come on, Tiril!

I'm only watching via text updates but how has E Oeberg lost 80 seconds with 1 penalty loop already.
At least now they are all bunched up again the last shoot should be the same for everyone.I think she's cooked (Öberg). But now the God of Wind decided that this was too predictable, so the Norwegians had horrible wind, and then it completely stilled off to the next runners.

I thought Niskanen would be the one to push the pace on his 2nd and 3rd leg of the team sprint but he looked tired.Niskanen won't start the 50k. Lame if you ask me, he is clearly the best endurance skier of the games, and should be able to fight for a medal. Some speculate this is about being ready for the holmenkollen 50k classic. Fair enough, but that's two weeks away from the Beijing one.
Finnish arrogance towards the skate is frustrating.
Eckhoff actually said ahead of the race that a shorter rest would be to their benefit.Everyone who raced in the relay the other day was heavily affected by the shortened rest. Well, except the Norwegians, of course.
Of course she said.Eckhoff actually said ahead of the race that a shorter rest would be to their benefit.
everyone but Häcki, Nigmatullina and Stremous did the relay, and they finished 16th, 17th and last. Although the first two were pretty quick indeedEveryone who raced in the relay the other day was heavily affected by the shortened rest. Well, except the Norwegians, of course.
Nigmatullina did the relay. She anchored the silver medalists.everyone but Häcki, Nigmatullina and Stremous did the relay, and they finished 16th, 17th and last. Although the first two were pretty quick indeed
The Swedes have had horribly slow ski throughout the Olympics, btw. Even when they won gold in the relay they looked bad
And otherwise they usually are among the top competitors?everyone but Häcki, Nigmatullina and Stremous did the relay, and they finished 16th, 17th and last. Although the first two were pretty quick indeed
I kind of like that both Niskanen and Bolshunov seemed to have faded after their initial achievements. Before the Olympics it was stressed repeatedly that the high altitude and rough conditions would take its toll and that the athletes had to choose between the races to be able to compete. It seems to be viable for almost everyone. Well, except some of the Norwegians of course.I thought Niskanen would be the one to push the pace on his 2nd and 3rd leg of the team sprint but he looked tired.
